Also I think the media mutiny has put them in a tailspin. The manufactured consent of the MSM fell apart in real time, and with it any chance of them just saying it was a cold and moving on. If CNN can say Biden should step aside on national TV, preference cascade kicks in and suddenly a lot more politicians and donors are comfortable saying the same things loudly and publicly. After 4 years it gives some of these people a chance to actually say what they feel, not just what they're told to feel.

I listen to progressive talk radio on Satellite occasionally (mostly because it's a stress test for my blood pressure). It's chaos on those airwaves. They are used to having a narrative to push and right now they're just bordering on schizophrenia.

They're trying to regroup around Project 2025, but it's difficult to pull off when you're literally worried the President might shit himself on national television.

I was born in 1980 and Minnesota hasn't gone Red in my lifetime. The Twin Cities are bluer than shit and drag the rural areas with it (got marooned there for a year or so early in my career). If it's a toss-up (and it might be) it's because the Democrat machine is falling apart and dragging down Dem's voter enthusiasm. Anecdotal experience, when I got on birth control (after 3 children) I was given several pamphlets about every option I had available when it came to contraceptions and the pros and cons of each choice. I also discussed with my doctor how quickly I could cease a hormonal regiment if it ended up turning me crazy because that was the hubby's main concern. Doctor also wanted me to discuss options with my husband (which he did during all of my pregnancies).

A lot of girls get put on birth control to help regulate their monthlies and some of my acquaintances in high school were mad that their doctors didn't want to put them on it because lack of sexual activities.

Question for people smarter than me: is it possible to OD on birth control pills like you can on other OTC medications?

Technically any time you take a dose higher than the studied and approved one, of anything, it's an OD. But as far as an overdose that would knock you out or cause organ damage, it's not really much of a risk. If you're taking two a day instead of one a day, chronically, you're going to start on the path for all the hormonal complications trannies risk (clots and cancers and so forth). But if you just take a bottle full in one go, it isn't likely to do much but make you hurl.

The ability to vote means squat if it doesn't accomplish anything for your wellbeing or the country as a whole.

If you are very pro-life, addressing abortion is an uphill battle. Dealing with birth control at this point, as entrenched in society as it is, even in a mild way such as attempting to change the narrative around it would realistically be a very difficult to accomplish task.

The cat is out of the bag. Only thing that could fix this(and many other societal ills) is a mass destabilization event that destroys our ability to mass produce/distribute pharmaceuticals and sets us back a hundred years.

I don't know that we have a "rule" about it but the board ethos would generally expect that if you're having a homosexual bot compose your text posts for you, you will be disclosing as much up front so no one wastes time reading it unless they're interested in the views of homosexual robots.

For instance, the post about Vice President Harris that the previous user mentioned was my personal, well-thought-out research. I honestly think they were going to do a D.E.I. swap. I have no idea where you’re drawing these predictions from. Trump was the greatest thing that ever happened to left wing media. They made oodles of cash and radicalized their remaining audience into religious consumers of their screeds. The businesses themselves are certainly now stacked with more anti-Trump ideologues than pro-money businessmen.

What makes you think they would do anything but capitalize on Trump for one last hurrah? Of course, it’s the last time they’ll ever be able to do it. After Trump is gone, their viewership will crash and they’ll relatively quickly start to fall away.
