It does makes me wonder why these groups act the way they do, my best guess is that they need constant external affirmation to cope with the (sometimes subconscious) knowledge that they will never really be what they pretend to, women for troons and animals for furfags.

I don't think furfags genuinely believe they're animals (except "Patricia" Troonson) but there is a ton of comorbidity between furries and trannies.
