Hahah, just watched the followup video.
Karl and
@SinistralRifleman are so butthurt that they aren't considered by anyone to be credible firearms journalists like sootch00.
I skipped through their longer review video and didn't run across that. I did however get to see a fatass truffleshuffling his way around a shooting course. Some random guy they asked pointed out how the stock was bendy, yeah that actually does look shitty. But the fatass complained that the stock didn't fit his face... maybe if he lost a solid 5 pounds of weight from his head alone and didn't have the equivalent of a fucking hamburger attached to the side of his face and was shaped like a normal human, it would fit? I also don't understand what anyone is supposed to take away from this tubby fuck waddling around with a rifle, any commentary he could possibly provide about how it handles, fits, etc. is automatically disqualified by being 100 pounds overweight as fixing that problem alone would make a massive improvement for how anything shoots so long as it isn't just constantly malfunctioning.
Then Karl himself... sure he's got a point that people can cherry pick groups. But that's why you shoot a lot of groups and use aggregate data. Doing a mag dump in Arizona and then shooting a group doesn't show anything either unless you're only buying the rifle to larp like you're in "the sandbox" shooting muslims, which this rifle is never going to see. If you're hunting(wtf are you buying this), then you'd only be primarily concerned about the cold bore shot anyway and maybe a couple of follow ups if you fucked up. Self defense? Yeah good fucking luck getting a lawyer who can explain to a jury anywhere in the US that somehow the scenario you're in where a 3moa rifle at a far enough distance to not be able to reliably hit center mass, and need to do mag dumps, is a "self defense" situation. Are people still doing the SHTF zombie larp shit?
At the end of the day, if you're into shooting matches, get a better fucking gun? Or better yet, get something that isn't a proprietary fucky mess since it's not like ARs are expensive, that way you can actually start getting range time in with the gun, shoot matches, and then upgrade it over time once you get to a point where you seriously believe its an equipment issue.
About the only logical thing I saw in the full review was the complaint about the out of spec rail, because Karl was correct. If your optic mount doesn't fit because the manufacturer couldn't be bothered to meet the standard, then it's shit.
