Oh, yeah, OK K.O.! I remember that piece of shit.
Did not know this, but the negro who gets pegged by Rebecca Sugar blamed Trump for his shit getting cancelled.
For those who don't know (and for good reason), OK, K.O.! Let's Be Heroes was Ian Jones-Quartey's fanfiction put on for public T.V.
The premise was that some kid named K.O. wanted to become "the greatest hero in the world." he does that by working at a supply shop called Gar's Bodega..... yeah.
But he must also protect the shop from the evil Boxman and his evil robots and..... look, I'll get straight to the point: the show's plot is very paper-thin and somehow has less substance than Plantons' rivalry with Mr.Krabs.
Not helped by the fact the animation in this show is utter crap.
The whole show looks like a child drew it.
Yet, someone managed to look worse than Sticking Around because, at the very least, that show goes all the way with its sick figure atheistic.
In contrast, OK K.O. comes as half-ass, but that isn't surprising since Ian did work on his wife's show, Steven Universe, and we all know the "high" quality of the animation in that show, and just like Steven Universe, OK K.O. is full of nothing but nothing references, not just to anime but everything.
How many references, you may ask? Well, it takes place in 201X (you just like Megaman), and it turns the final villain of the series, Professor Venomous, is revealed to K.O.'s father, and yes, they do it exactly like Darth Vader did to Luke.
The references are so bad that it gets to the point where an entire episode will be just about a reference to another series.
They had one about Captain Planet and even had a special where OK met Sonic the Hedgehog.
Ian spends so much time referencing so many other shows that he barely remembers how to focus on his show, and thus, OK K.O! ends up suffering from an identity crisis, though then again, when he does decide to focus on his damn show, Ian likes to get.... political.
Again, much like Steven Universe, OK O.K! likes to tackle serious subjects, like being a furry, gay relationship, and how you're a winner even if you failed at life.
It even went as far as to discuss the horrors of GUNS!!!
This would result in the episode called Let's Not Be Skeleton.
The premise of this episode is that Gil Ferris sells a bunch of remotes that turn people into skeletons (get the metaphor).
However, this upsets K.O. because his friends have turned into Skeletons, and he tries to tell people about the evil of the gu... I mean remotes by singing how bad they are.... Again, it's not surprising since Ian works on Steven Universe.
Fortunately, this doesn't work, and everyone starts zapping each other. Even O.K. is almost tempest to zap his boss.
Unfortunately, it turns out that this whole episode was a dream (yes, they did that shit trope), and he cries to his mom about how evil the remotes are, and you want to know how they end this crap episode? They tell you to call your local congresswoman, and they permanently ban all the remotes.
This episode was so shit even Mr.Enter thought it was terrible.
So when Ian tells you his show failed because of Trump, the more likely reason the show got canned is that OK K.O! writing was so shit that nobody was watching it and thus, ratings went down the toilet.
