Lol why do they do this? I know they're afraid Trump is stealing the Corn Pop vote, but all Biden is gonna do at some event like this is say a bunch of weird things like how he marched alongside MLK or "And there I was, sitting on the same bus as Rosa Parks, and".Biden is going out to Austin for a photo op on the 60th Anniversary of the Civil Rights Acts.
Same, I figured he'd take the long weekend and make a final decision. Now it's up to the DNC to decide to give him the nomination or not.
Biden's letter to congress. Everyone's saying it's very unlikely he will drop out now.
I think I expected this...just something about inertia and stubbornness making this the likely outcome. Nothing Dems love more than snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Fuck AOC is the easiest choice. The question is do you also marry her and kill both, or go your way.Oh thats easy, kill warren, fuck aoc, marry hilary. AOC's the least awful of the set to bed, Hilary is marrying into a powerful political dynasty that doesn't care who you fuck on the side as long as you're not dumb enough to get caught, and Warrens irredeemeable.
Trump was president for 4 years. He is known. People can look at 2016-2020 and 2020-2024 and decide if their life was better or worse. It's really hard to spin.Trump will as well, let’s be real here, but if people are uncertain with him, they’re going with the devil they know.
I jokingly suggested the next debate would have Biden have someone up there with him while Trump is kept in a soundproof cage and required to respond in iambic pentameter. Who fucking new they'd actually float the idea.

We're at step 3 of the five stages of grief: bargaining. Next is depression.

Surprisingly no. In a rarity for this thread the troll is getting no real traction with the only real responses being either to point out the obvious nature of the bait or to use it to piggyback other points!
It's just too transparent. Nobody would ever seriously support Biden for any of those reasons.I think this speaks more to his utter failure as a troll though.
Anecdotally, construction and “the skilled trades” seem to be doing well currently, at least in the southern states. A lot of what I’m seeing is city/state/federal funded projects though, so that can all be chalked up to “government jobs” for the less discriminating eye. This is anecdotal, but it's consistent with what I'm seeing from my new college grad buddies. Nursing and medical jobs are the only things in abundance at the moment, and it's slim pickings for everything else, with the tech bros feeling it the worst. The only people I know who are getting jobs are those going for any government job, but others are catching on, so it's getting much more competitive on every level.
Gah you fucker, when @Dr. Ricearoni said the first line I knuckled down and concentrated really hard and I succeeded in not remembering any other lines in that song and starting the loop that that song send my brain into, but then you mentioned the next line and I connected them before I could stop myself and now it's just another manic Monday, I wish it was Sunday, that's my fun day, just another magic Monday, I wish it was Sunday, that's my fun day, just another magic Monday, I wish it was Sunday, that's my fun day, just another magic Monday, I wish it was Sunday, that's my fun day, just another magic Monday, I wish it was Sunday, that's my fun day, just another magicI wish it was Sunday
Good lord, can we go back to the other kind of blackpill Monday where everyone is falling apart over France?Sometimes, I think of an alternative reality where Hillary Clinton was a retired politician turned model. She'd be a breakthrough for women over 60 to embrace tasteful sexuality like Martha Stewart did.
Biden will end the game with more strokes and the media will work overtime to convince the population that more points makes a person the winner in golf. Biden's final stroke will see him in an ambulance and rushed to the hospital.Next debate should be a National Golf Match
Bonus points if it winds up playing out EXACTLY like the "Teed Off" episode of Rocko's Modern Life
What lesson? That they just need to revolt harder? The French were killing people for not being revolutionary enough over a century before the Bolsheviks were.the frog revolution was the start of most of the bullshit we deal with on a daily basis. they need to crash and burn before they'll learn their lesson.

Yeah, there’s a big shortage right now. Infrastructure continues to fall apart to where there is no choice to rebuild a lot of it. I think construction is going to do well for the foreseeable future just to fix what’s falling apart, let alone new infrastructure due to population growth in particular areas.Anecdotally, construction and “the skilled trades” seem to be doing well currently, at least in the southern states. My brother in law always defended his choice in working roads and bridges as an engineer saying "It's the one construction sector that will probably never die down."The pandemic and Summer of Love happened on Trump’s watch.

Why would they do anything to fix infrastructure when leaving it as a problem ensures a neverending avenue of graft?Yeah, there’s a big shortage right now.
