100% on point. That said, I think Michelle would get more votes than Biden. I don't think it would fix the fact that people have soured on the Democratic party in general these past 4 years, but it would help. Still wouldn't beat Trump. Mike would only have 4 months, and most older voters choose who they recognize, Trump.

The moderates and the independents would probably be spooked by a candidate switch this late in the game and would be wary of her experience but would still say how nice she is etc. I agree with others though that this would galvanize a lot of the never trump right into suddenly supporting Trump again because they hate Obama more than they hate Trump surprisingly and it would just so obviously be another term for Barack. I'm starting to think they will keep Joe as long as possible and if he craps out idk, it would be chaotic though and catastrophic for them.
That's why I've decided I'm Ridin With Biden for the dem candidate and wish him the very best at the convention.

No, the biggest problem with the replace faction is that they literally can't replace him. In two weeks they'll have pre-emptively nominated their candidate so he can get on the ballot in Ohio. I think in other states the ballots are already being printed. If they switch now, they're off the ballot entirely. Then there's the fundraising issue. They need every penny of the money raised for Biden and if they drop him, they have to give it back.

It's just not feasible.

They are aware all right. It is obvious even for a distant observer, and they are way up close. However, it pays to play along even if they know it is damaging in the end. A weak presidency is a good deal if you have a looter's mindset, and the Biden admin increasingly looks like a looting operation in a prosperous mansion ruled by an ailing family patriarch. Everyone knows the party is over reasonably soon, but you can make it by sneaking off with the silverware, carrying out that expensive chair, or getting the drunken host to sign over something that benefits you. The joint is getting trashed, but that's not your problem, at least not your problem now. Besides, everyone else is doing it, it can't be stopped, and if you don't join in, you are going to miss out on that priceless clock you could be grabbing instead of the other guy. Nobody calls the law, but everyone eyes everyone suspiciously to consider what they are trying to abscond with. There is no honor among thieves.

It is a very cynical outlook, but it is one held by the scavengers who make up the current political class. It also shows these elites have lost their long term perspective. A generation ago, they would have thought of maintaining the system for their long term benefit and for their posterity. Today, they behave like there will be no tomorrow. Very high time preference, no delayed gratification. The only way this behavior stops is if someone restores order and makes an example of a few cases to put the fear of the law in the rest.

there is more then one way for something to be not feasible. One way is for attempting it to be impossible due to physics, and the other way is for the successful attempt to hold a very negative consequence that negates the benefits of the attempt. There are many people (mostly niggers) that can't grasp the concept of consequences, so the second way is meaningless to them.

It's very likely they will try, then get a shocked pikachu expression if they succeed and the consequences kick in.

The apostrophe indicates a glottal stop, which is how the natives pronounce the word. It's less common to actually spell it that way, but it's not necessarily some form of PC gooberism motivating anyone who does include the apostrophe. More likely linguistic autism.
