I struggle to visualize how the Democrat Party as a whole survives the next 4 months if they really do try to run Biden all the way. Pretending an obvious dementia patient is OK? He's going to have many, many more "bad days" before November yet they expect every normie Dem to just pretend along with them? The debate was only two weeks ago - the election is 16 weeks away. How will the history books describe this election farce for the rest of time? I just don't see it, it's suicide for the entire Dem brand.I think the main motivation for ditching Biden will be damage control and trying to salvage the party as a whole. Biden/pelosi/schumer may not care about the future but younger democrats don't want to sacrifice their future for corrupt octogenarians who only care for themselves. They can't admit they're giving up on the election because their donors would permanently disappear.
Isn't Trump a Floridian now? President and VP can't be from the same state. And there would be no point to put in Rubio since it doesn't really bring in or shore up any voting constituency. I've never considered Rubio to be of particular appeal to Latinos. If he was just going to do something as transactional as that, he should just go for a black guy like Tim Scott.Though it sorta sounds like Trump just hinted it isn’t Marco.
I’m absolutely dying laughing at Trump, he blends the serious with the funny, the stories with the prompter so seamlessly it’s such a fun time. I’ve listened to him enough to know he does talk a lot to his ‘guests’ and name drop them throughout but I’m suspicious about his linking Marco with the VP pick, even if it was to dismiss it. I’m thinking he now may not announce, will need to rewatch Jeremy to see where this rumour came from.Jeremy sounds worried about Marco Rubio being picked.

Trump’s whole family is there, sounds like. That might be why he thinks this is the VP announcement. Even Barron is there.I’m absolutely dying laughing at Trump, he blends the serious with the funny, the stories with the prompter so seamlessly it’s such a fun time. Chris Christie is NOT a fat pig! (Repeat 11 times)
I just looked up my snap answer to this question and apparently he's dead. So I guess not. What would be the strangest choice that makes sense in retrospect?
Can't have an eleventh hour betrayal by a corpse.I just looked up my snap answer to this question and apparently he's dead. So I guess not.

It’s 20 strokes - 10 each side lol. Not clear if match or stroke play but either way that’s a big shit on Biden.Trump challenged Biden to an 18-hole golf match at Trump National Doral Golf Club:

He's willing to give Biden a 20-stroke head start and if he loses, he'll donate $1 million to a charity of Biden's choice.

twist?Plot twist: Trump disavowed Project 2025 because it didn't glaze his ego enough.
inside baseball says it's nobody currently in congress because that would diminish any possible gop leadsThough it sorta sounds like Trump just hinted it isn’t Marco.
they sorta can but it kneecaps your electorate count from that state or something that matters when it's FloridaPresident and VP can't be from the same state.

That's just conventional wisdom, not Constitutional Law or anything.Isn't Trump a Floridian now? President and VP can't be from the same state.
Yes, you would probably be closer to reality basing your worldview on what people say in the World of Warcraft than in the World of Twitter. This was the problem with Twitter. The Democrats decided Twitter was life and representative of what normal people believed. Instead, it's reflective of what people who choose to spend their time "retweeting" things believe.
Something along the lines of, "Well, it had worked for Fetterman so they just gave it a shot."The debate was only two weeks ago - the election is 16 weeks away. How will the history books describe this election farce for the rest of time? I just don't see it, it's suicide for the entire Dem brand.
It’s in the 12th amendmentThat's just conventional wisdom, not Constitutional Law or anything.
No, it isn’t. There’s no rule against both sides of the ticket being from the same state. It’s in the 12th amendment
I'm surprise no one pointed out it's the Hail Fauci guy.
The only quirk I could see of that in this era would be Trump switching from Florida to New York, for example, only to immediately have them try lawfare on him now that he's a resident of that state. Not that it really matters. Cheney was from Texas like Bush, so before Election Day in 2000 he registered his vacation home in Wyoming as his official residence to get around this quirk of the Electoral College.
Ron DeSantis. What would be the strangest choice that makes sense in retrospect?
