Time to start our own recipe collection over in the poorfag thread.
I rarely use a recipe, I just like looking around for inspiration but I think you're onto something. It would be kind of a pain in the ass to type out everything in a cohesive way though.

SAM LOSCO’S WIFE. SAM LOSCO’S WAIIIIIIFE! SAM LOSCO’S DICKSUCKER IS MORE LIKE IT.
I actually looked up Legal Mindset because of that whole diatribe.

I watched an @elb clip with him in it, and figured OK, maybe more lawtube. It's been nothing but vtuber bullshit from his feed.

Maybe losing YT isn't all that bad.

Whoever mentioned GreyJay - it's amazingly bloated for what it is. 500% the size of BraveNewPipe, and almost does the same job. Pity, because it's kind of neat, but doesn't deserve to be a 130MB application.

Over the past 24 hours, hundreds of users on multiple sub OSs (Google TV, Fire TV) are complaining of HTTP 403 Forbidden errors with the YouTube adblocking app SmartTube while trying to play videos.
Can confirm with Tartube (and, consequently, yt-dlp). I was dumping all of Nick Crackieta's channel and at the end there were 403 Forbidden errors for some of the videos. Updating yt-dlp fixed the problem and the dump was completed.
Also today I tried self-hosting an Invidious instance (none of the public instances work for me for some reason). Aside from comments not loading, everything is working just fine.

Jewgle is fighting a losing battle. Felting is imminent.

Like to point out, brave never had problems during the first wave of youtube blockers, and it still hasn't now. Since newpipe died, I now just open the video on the mobile version of brave and I can listen with my phone closed.

If you haven't figured out what Dyn's thing is by now, then you're kind of a retard.

I have seen a total of two Dyn posts, but honestly I should have noticed sooner.

This isn't feature worthy.
Your birth wasn't feature worthy yet it gets a entire ass day.
So it's worse than that. I spent time writing ad copy after I took a job working with a media company 2 years ago and every time you make a good script, they reject it and demand you make it fit a template built solely on demographic data that's over 3 years old and heavily compromised by the area they chose to do the study.

Case in point, of you want to advertise to mother'sof children under 12 in an area with less than 150k people, they base it off of Atalanta suburbs, no matter where you are in the county. Single males with a bachelor's degree and no children and under 45? That data set comes out of Seattle.

When you try to tailor a message to a specific area, you'll have some idiot 2o something chick with a degree in advertising out of a diploma mill screech about how it won't work because the data on hand doesn't agree.

This just one of the many reasons why letting women in the workplace at a level higher than getting coffee has been a disaster for the Western economy. Women simply can't think outside of their own frame of reference and will try to get you fired for having ideas and experiences outside of their own.
So that's why ads aren't good anymore. Fucking GAY

When I use Youtube on Google Chrome, I sometimes get a popup that says

Ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube
It looks like you might be using an ad blocker.
Ads allow YouTube to be used by billions worldwide.
You can go ad-free with YouTube Premium, and creators can still get paid from your subscription.

(then an option to)
Allow YouTube Ads/Try YouTube Premium

My response is to laugh.
Honey you are in MY house.
In my house, we value an ad blocker.
Then I click the lil' x in the corner and go about my business.

Are people really falling for the "This is not allowed" shit? I sure hope not.

Gray is hit or miss, the twitch ads play everytime. youtube hasnt been a problem but odysee never loads.
I use it primarily for youtube and rumble downloads to watch offline and it does great on those, and the unified feed is great

I am a bit worried that it could do what I assume is happening with Twitch with youtube downloads eventually, if they start consistently injecting the ads directly into the feed like twitch does. I'm not sure if that got a larger rollout or if they just tried it for a minute to see how it worked and backed off

Oh but half the fun is tearing your hair out trying to figure out why that one Kodi addon you need crashes everything or why the Raspberry refuses to properly mount the M2 drive you installed despite double checking the drive and the NVMe board are both good.
