The issue is that Vshojo acts like they aren't that, Vshojo acts like they are just like the other companies, hiring on people based off talent, when that's never been the sole factor.

Exactly. People give content creators a lot of shit for stuff. But most people have no grasp on just how many people they have to deal with and how impossible that actually is. And that success breads detachment at a certain level because it’s impossibke to interact with everyone and it gets harder to interact with people around you if they have can’t relate.

Yes, the audition was around August/September 2021. It was forgotten until a year later, Haruka joined Vshojo due to the auditions (alluded to by Geega herself). Somehow, out of hundreds of applicants (I assume), the one who's friends with them and frequently collabs with them got hired who could've just joined the company without even the audition faff. Admittedly, she was a 2view, but come on.
Excited for 2025 when it turns out they're hiring Mint or idk, the guy Ironmouse frequently collabs with and looking back to these posts of them pissing and shitting on Twitter about being called NepoShojo.

The VSJ model makes sense since it gurantees an audience and that they hire people they already jive with, but the tweets going "woe are us" for something thats somewhat true are fucking retarded. I think the best way they could've easily gotten retards of their back is by doing their due dilligence to pick up a diamond in the rough indie or two that had minimum to no interaction with them, but the sperging imo kinda makes me think they'll do an obvious hire again

Geega was a high 3view in 2022. But in 2021 she was leaning more into the 3view territory, at least in the second half of the year.
But yeah, the problem with VShojo is really what they say and how they act. They declare that there are open auditions where, theoretically, everyone has the same chances but in the end they only let people pass that are already in their inner circle or corpo dropouts. This might happens one time, maybe two times but not every fucking time. And sure, they can do whatever they want in their auditions but they cannot complain when people call them out on this.
There is a high chance that they are hiring not-Mel for the JP side and Mint for the EN side.
