He was talking with his ex-wife, the mother of his children, who reassured him that April also had a bunch of stories about her relationship before Aaron being with someone abusive, who was mean, a monster etc. The same shit she’s pushing about Aaron now, namely to Keano and Geno (who are so unremarkable they are largely ignored, but note they are loathsome too). Aaron says some stuff that’s a bit muddled, but seems to hint at the way he was being manipulated by the polycule (April, Nick, Kayla, mainly April since as his wife she’d have the easiest time planting ideas on him) as making him feel crazy which therapy has helped with. His ex-wife mentioned therapy changing him for the better, according to him.

He‘s taking the high-road now and not going scorched earth like he previously would, which his ex-wife approves of. His words. Which is lame. He thinks he’ll be vindicated in the end since he’s telling the truth and seems to be just enjoying spending time with his kids—which hopefully is true and seeing how Nick treated his children, how close his kids got to that, has been a wake up call.
