Apparently, Assassin's Creed: Shadows, which is supposedly "the best-selling game pre-order in Japan", has only sold around 1500 copies.

There are more than 1500 weeaboo English teachers in Tokyo, so at least let's count a generous 1-300 as the prime audience for this game, which is being very generous (like adding an extra 0 generous) cause if you’ve been in Japan for long enough you won’t buy this. Because, why would you go to Japan to begin with?. Let's also add some wokies who used Amazon Japan to pre-order, to make it look like it's selling well there (which is possibly me giving those limp-wristed faggots too much credit) & Ubisoft boosting sales by pre-ordering themselves (the most realistic thing in all this).
In some way, it's unsurprising, because the PS5 is a niche area in Japan. Especially Western games do not sell at all. For example:
>The last AC was 30,000 units in total.
>GOW did not reach even 100,000 units.
>BG3, according to Famitsu, 1st week sales of the Japanese-language packaged version of "Baldur's Gate 3" on PS5 were 20,497; the following week, 5,419.
To make it even worse, Ubisoft jew-erry makes it even worse. As you can see in the pic above, just the Standard Editon alone is ¥15,000 (95$), meaning around 100$ (with taxes), due to the exchange rate of ~¥150 to 1$. For context, the minimum wage in Tokyo is ¥1113. That's 13.5 hours of work (combined with the hellish experience of being a wagie in Japan) before taxes to play this shitty goyslop.
Now, if anybody is still wondering exactly
HOW did this piece of shit became best-seller game, it's simple, a AAA game being the best seller on the day/week it's announced, especially when there are no other big games close to release or announced, literally means nothing. This applies even more in Japan, cause it's between the AAA game, VS, 15 JRPGs that release more regularly than the news & a couple of Visual Novels. Guess what? the next big AAA slop will also be the "best-seller" in various countries' top lists, it doesn't mean jackshit. Just like how games like Suicide Squad, Redfall, etc. had "high pre-order numbers!" & look how that turned out. It's all marketing bullshittery & means absolutely nothing to how a game will actually sell.
