With plastic surgeries where drains are used, they might be draining fluid for a few days or a few weeks. It’s going to take as long as a persons body takes, in this case Anna’s. I believe you are correct. Also important to remember that entire Thanksgiving dinners, "some" cotton candy (that happens to be all of the cotton candy that is as big as a giant person's head), buffets from back-to-back cruises, entire sheet cakes and bag after bag of protein chips and multiple Starbucks drinks are all a healthy part of an 1800 calorie diet.

Anna has told us in the past that she "forgets" to eat and sometimes has to schedule eating even if she isn't hungry or she won't "nourish" her body. So presumably she has gone several days/weeks/months not eating anything but also never losing weight because her fat is "unburnable". She will be a constant mass even if she never eats again because she is as you have astutely surmised -- entirely lipedema.

There's a joke about how if "weight set points" were real then why didn't the soldiers liberate any obese people at concentration camps? Well, now we know it's because Anna wasn't there.

So I fully expect her to get the additional surgeries she has planned, and continue pursuing further surgeries until she suffers major complications. There are lots of plastic surgery patients who get caught in a loop of thinking the next surgery will be the one that finally lets them achieve perfection, and I expect Anna to end up one of them. I can see her changing surgeons once she decides it's this one's fault for not giving her the (unrealistic) result she really wanted. And if she's paying out-of-pocket for these procedures and follow-up care, it's possible she'll only stop when she runs out of money.

I'm not convinced. Anna is getting these surgeries because she thinks they'll be a quick fix to a problem that actually would require years of dedicated, consistent motivation and hard work to remedy, and she's in a lot of physical distress right now. She clearly wasn't expecting the recovery to take more than, like, a day or two, and she's obviously upset at how painful an ordeal it was for her to travel back to Texas. (Also, even if it did really only take a few days to recover, wouldn't her recovery be compounded by the fact that her immune system is shit and she's likely pre-diabetic, yeah? Her recovery's gonna take a lot longer.)

She might do the next one still, but she's obviously way more uncomfortable and in a lot more pain than she was expecting, and she's pissed. Anna cannot handle being uncomfortable in any way. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a video where a tearful Anna is blustering how it's just too painful and she was mislead and oh what a curse it is to be confined to such a pain-filled existence, if only there was something that could be done to remedy the fact that she's too fat.

This is so beautiful. It’s all coming together as if in a dream. While our little Anna corner of Kiwi Farms has been a delight, I fear she’s about to become a known cow with lots of reactors. (And sadly, a lot of lore errors.). It’s not Anna who forgets to eat, it’s Tess Holliday.

While people have let her slide because they don’t want backlash for appearing fat phobic, her complaining about contradictory health problems while being sponsored by a dermatologist might not result in the same fear response. It was only a matter of time really. Lying, social awkwardness, desperately needing to be admired/pitied/an educator, while snottily snapping back at people who call her out are all the elements needed in a cow who will catch on.

I think we should notify @Kate Farms Shill about the birth of this new star so she’s prepared when it goes supernova. Their lives might be a little busy to worry about some fat cow’s internet delusions, of course.

I hope her new munchie followers are full of people comparing their fake diseases to each other and trying to one-up her and take her down because she gets so much wrong.

I can’t wait to see what she comes up with when she looks no better after a few surgeries, and also feels worse because she’s hitting her 40s at 600 lbs. OxyContin sponsorship? I’m greedy, I want it all. I want to see Anna stall spin right into the ground.

I realize this post could result in many rainbows, but I think chronic illness is the hill she’ll die on. Prepare for lots of supplement shilling, compression garment comparisons and fashion shows, and lots of photos of IVs. Maybe a bariatric wheelchair, now that she’s “sick”? The possibilities are endless.

I do find it amazing that she found a doctor whose hair is as greasy as hers.

She admitted at one point to being a full diabetic and backpedaled stating she cured it with whatever was the current doctor fad she was on.

She is now stating she has a preliminary diagnosis of EDS.

They have deep, deep issues that they have to confront and resolve but are either ignorant of or unwilling to deal with the discomfort. Pretty much anyone that reaches morbid obesity has an issue they've been trying to correct with food. Anna of course has detailed her issues in the old blog, she hasn't even come close to coming to terms with them and overcoming anything.

Know what you mean. I've often wondered how someone like Anna would look after a year strictly on chicken breasts/veg/water etc and gentle exercising, Just make that a mission and treat it like a science project. I'd bet everything I have on that being more successful than dodgy surgery and faddy diets that never last.

I don't believe she has EDS. If she did, even a mild form, her joints would be utterly fucked by now, given the crazy shit she insists upon doing at her weight.

She used to be an actual gym rat—it wasn't that many years ago that she was still really into fitness—and I think what mobility and flexibility she has are holdovers from those days. She's stayed just mobile enough to retain a surprising amount of flexibility, but I have a very hard time believing she has EDS.
