It's a thing YouTubers frequently do - getting other YouTubers to contribute small voice parts in their videos. It's presumably free, plus they all benefit from promoting each other.

The thing is, he doesn't need to "act" a quote like this, anybody else would just read it, nothing is gained from his cloying and crude attempts to emote a quote that obviously sounds nothing like a Japanese woman.

Anyway, if this is Lindsay's attempt to get back into good graces by making a video about an Asian woman to prove she's not racist, she's probably still committed a faux pas by having her be voiced by a white "woman" lol.

Yoko Ono is forever a cultural reference to where she can be a single word punchline on sitcoms where they call someone the Yoko of a group. Olly will only be this in his own mind, if he stopped his YouTube channel today people would forget he existed in no time. Look at how fast Contrapoints has gone from media star to near irrelevance.

Amazing how they let him get away with that, that's dreadful! His line adds nothing, his performance suggests nothing, he's supposed to be some kind of advisor but comes off as a whiny wanker. At least the other unnamed extras with lines say something substantial.

He looks so out of place in every scene, amazing. Also yes his character does die very explicitly. Chances of him having another appearance in the last episode are very remote.

This was absolutely a way to try and pull focus in the shot for longer.
Although in fairness, he was already pulling focus with how pale he is, and was possibly lit that way to highlight they hired a trans actor. He really sticks out.
