Honestly, I can't even express how much celebrities have been pissing me off for the past few days. First of all, nobody should ever listen to celebrities talk about politics ever, because celebrities are the most privileged, spoiled, and out-of-touch group of people on the planet. They live in gigantic mansions within gated communities and make more money than anyone could spend in a lifetime (or in multiple lifetimes), and yet they want to lecture us on the "real" issues? Give me a fucking break.

I can't believe they're acting like they're actually going to be affected by anything that happens within the next 4-8 years. I mean, look at the way they all turned on Oprah like a pack of feral dogs when she actually tried to be mature about the situation. Oprah was an outspoken Hillary supporter, but instead of flipping the fuck out she was like "Hey, guys, maybe this won't be so bad, let's just try to stay positive." And the response she got was "YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US!!!!"

Cracked (when it was still consistently good) wrote a really great article on why you should never take advice of any kind from celebrities. I really recommend reading it, as it's still very relevant.

Apparently white people shouldn't wear safety pins in solidarity to POC anti-Trump people and yes, this comes from the Huffington Post which has been really salty lately

Exactly, even if Trump went on his words and the paranoias came true and began creating the concentration camps, you just know he wouldn't catch the celebrities. I don't even think that's allowed, considering they're such sacred cows.
