aren't going to hit the same way as the problems of the USSR.
I did make a point of stating exactly that. I really believe some Americans are conditioned to immediately rail against the USSR even when it's unwarranted. Saying something similar may occur in the US does not imply both countries were/are the same.
As time went on however no one updated the procedure to account for fraud and foul play.
The Voting Rights Act stopped literacy tests, poll taxes, property-ownership requirements, moral character tests, requirements that voter registration applicants interpret particular documents, and grandfather clauses that allowed otherwise-ineligible persons to vote if their grandfathers voted. The problem is its been interpreted to prohibit requesting a state or voter ID when you cast a ballot.

Ah yes, when nothing else works, there's always threats of violence. That is totally how adults act when things don't go their way.
It's like a seventeen-year-old making a scene in public when they're denied service at a fast food restaurant or like a fistfight at a high school. This is how the liberal left operates; they think and act like children.

Funny you mention that, recently I've seen grown-ass men have temper tantrums inside McDonalds.

Last one was because the white dude was waiting in those designated parking spots for fatties and lazy fucks that became a thing since COVID started where you hit the spot number on your phone and they come give you the food outside. And I guess no one was free at the time to show up to his car, so he made a scene and asked for a refund even though they were willing to give him his stuff right there and then.

Reagan didn't get diagnosed with dementia until 1993. his speech at the 1992 RNC was no different than the ones he'd been giving for the previous 15 years or so. his voice was rougher, his cadence slower but he was clearly in command of his faculties.
There's a big difference between reading a scripted speech off a teleprompter and speaking extemporaneously in a debate. Biden demonstrates this every day.

Dems might want to slow down on fortifying the election this year cause the drunken redneck army is only getting stronger

A federal judge rejected a more than century-old ban on home distilling as unconstitutional Wednesday.

Judge Mark Pittman, a Trump appointee, found that a federal law making it a felony to distill spirits at home exceeded Congress’ power, holding that neither Congress’ tax power nor its ability to regulate interstate commerce justify the ban. Pittman permanently blocked the government from enforcing the ban, which threatens violators with up to $10,0o0 in fines or 5 years in prison, against the plaintiffs it found to have standing.

“Indeed, the Constitution is written to prevent societal amnesia of the defined limits it places on this government of and by the people,” Pittman wrote. “That is where the judiciary must declare when its coequal branches overstep their Constitutional authority. Congress has done so here.”

President Jimmy Carter signed a law that legalized homebrewing in 1978, but distilling spirits at home remained illegal.

The Hobby Distillers Association, an organization that includes over 1,300 members, filed a lawsuit against the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TBB) and Department of Justice (DOJ) in December to challenge the ban. Competitive Enterprise Institute General Counsel Dan Greenberg, who represented the plaintiffs, said in a statement that the ruling is “a victory for personal freedoms and for federalism.”

“We’re pleased to see that the court determined that the home distilling ban is unconstitutional – and that it blocked enforcement of the ban against our clients,” Greenberg said. “More broadly, the court’s decision reminds us that, as Americans, we live under a government of limited powers.”

Pittman paused his ruling for 14 days to enable the government to seek emergency relief from the appeals court.

Considering the slew of cases in the 5th circuit challenging the GCA and the NFA it's going to be an insane year for sure. It'll be funnier if this turns out to be the cause of the 2nd Whiskey Rebellion (War against federal tyranny).
I’d argue that’s a step in rebuilding our own industrial base is breaking the reliance on China. Indians are worse, but building what little remains of our industry after three decades of NAFTA and depending on Chinese manufacturing is gonna take half a century.
Good sir, you first must kill off NAFTA. Given the congressloons are hell bent on doubling down there's no chance short of voting both parties out of power (Or the US loosing WW3) that will happen.

Hulk Hogan complaining about Ronald reagan's war the difference is Ronald reagan's war is actually had a purpose
the Gulf War also achievers objectives and then we left

no we shouldn't trump should make someone do his right on everything his vice president so if you do anything to him you get someone who's more extreme than he is on everything you should pick someone along the lines of Peter brimlow pat Buchanan.
Or John Derbyshire

The most famous Supreme Court challenge was United States v. Miller and the suit was all but guaranteed a favorable ruling for the U.S. because Miller was a broke bank robber (ironic, isn't it), didn't really have the money to put up a strong defense, and the district court judge knew that. Because Miller could not present evidence to the contrary, we got this fun statement in the S.C. decision:

The Court cannot take judicial notice that a shotgun having a barrel less than 18 inches long has today any reasonable relation to the preservation or efficiency of a well regulated militia, and therefore cannot say that the Second Amendment guarantees to the citizen the right to keep and bear such a weapon.

Forget shotguns, The M4 carbine has a barrel length of 14.5 inches, is often fitted with either an automatic or burst fire capable trigger group, and is absolutely relates to the preservation or efficiency of a well regulated militia. I'm cautiously optimistic that the NFA will be repealed by a very based Supreme Court, but who knows.
