Not to derail the thread or anything, but pointing out a reason why sex offenders don't get murdered in prison doesn't change the fact that they aren't: there are literally one million people in the US living on the registry, and most of them served at least some time in prison. Regardless of what I have to say, go check out a state registry sometime, and you'll find a list of people who survived prison.

I'm not saying you're NOT wrong. There's actually a few factors that have made sex offenders safer in prisons, at least at the federal level: designated correctional facilities that house significantly higher populations of offenders (the prison that Jared Fogle went to is one of those, and in general prison populations have exploded with offenders due to increased prosecution and long sentences) and higher prosecution rates for guard misconduct being chief among them. The worst of the worst may very well get their comeuppance in a jail yard, sure. But, as I maintain, most offenders can, and do, survive prison.

If I had to take a guess, Bad Dragon will re-locate out of Arizona to a jurisdiction with more friendly obscenity laws.

It always kind of confused me as to why Varka headquartered Bad Dragon in Arizona. It's a purple state so it's not universally accepting of degenerate shit. I'm just spitballing here but I don't think advertising on e621 generates any meaningful revenue for Bad Dragon. That goes for all of their other owned properties as well like F-List and that Pokemon porn site. Bad Dragon owns all of these properties so they can choke it with ads leading back to their main business and drive up sales. Any money they make from selling ads to other people is probably negligible and at best just pays for the continued operations of those websites and nothing else. Also owning so many high traffic outlets linking back to the BD website probably has an effect on search engine optimization because high traffic websites are considered trustworthy sources by whatever web crawling algorithm powers the search. (This is how it used to be like 20 years ago, I don't know how much that has changed if any.)

I think Varka will leave the United States and either move Bad Dragon oversees within the next six months or shutter the business entirely.

Before Bad Dragon, Varka ran some kind of VPN or tunneling service with that other zoophile Douglas Spink (Baneki was the name?). Varka is also either the owner or co-owner of Input/Output Flood in Arizona which is some kind of server/hosting business. I am certain he has the knowledge and tools necessary to just circumvent laws and regulations by way of masking or hiding traffic somehow.
