Mega Rad Gun Thread

Fuck you Rust, for making me both want an LR300, and a set of those un-obtanium "mangonel" DPMS folding back-up sights.
they make an "airsoft" version out of Hong Kong.

note that these are identical to the DPMS ones almost certainly since DPMS sourced cast aluminum parts from several factories in Taiwan and Hong Kong for years and years and these might be identical. they were cheap $50 sights originally after all.

We got a Sam Hyde/Guntuber crossover boys..

I had a series 80 before the boating accident.

Oh dear God..... Well at least it's Admin Results and not Lucas Botkin.

Here is a more better gun tuber that isn't a paid advertiser (nothing WRONG with hat just know that 99% of gun tubers with over 100k subs are absolutely on the lay for play train)

Charls: "If you get a bullet in the brain, can you live long enough to kill?"

Truly the most eminent philosopher of our time. 🧠

They're pretty good. I always carry my LCP max to the gym and to the beach, but that doesn't have a thumb saftey.
I have a very retarded and sheltered question: when people say they “gym carry”…are they actually talking about having their pistol on their person when they’re doing deadlifts and squats or something?

How’s that work?

EDIT: to address the SCCY talk in the last two pages, the only person I know of that unironically owns and shoots an SCCY pistol is Mersh. Don’t be like Mersh.

You literally carry your gun at the gym. Many ways to accomplish this. You can just roll the waistband of gym shorts over your belt and use your regular EDC. You can use something like a smart carry or Phlster enigma. You can pocket carry. You can use a Fanny pack. You can have a gun off body in a bag.

Yes.

Arrowhead tactical has gym shorts with a belt through them that are decent if you don’t want to be a weirdo like me and sew bands on your gym shorts so you can run a belt through them

with the talk of "gym carry" maybe i'm a bigger weirdo for having a home gym setup and just having a firearm elsewhere in the room...
Home gym master race. I still can't really play Rugby after the PCL shit last night I watched Murphy's war (highly suggest if you like ww2, Moby dick or planes) loaded a ton of 303 and got my work out in. My home gym is in my garage (finally back together after the lift was installed) also where my work bench is and some of my guns. I'm going to the range later and my Bren kept me safe.

One day after I win the lotto I'd love to get a giggle mode for this beast. It's really an enjoyable shoot, lug around not so much.

Almost 4500 rounds through the G49 in almost 2 months. No change in accuracy. Not a single malfunction. My only complaints are the finish wear on the breachface of the slide and on certain parts of the barrel.View attachment 6185425
The finish was never durable on Glocks, but the Gen 5 seems even worse. My sweat completely destroys the finish on a Glock, and other brands too.

You're right, you're right. Glock is number one. You should send me one free of charge so I can spread the word. And I totally will not end up turning it into souped up ghettoblaster 3000.
I've done a 180 in recent years. My boomer tendencies toward plastic on my guns has shifted. I don't mind em now. Would still prefer metal over plastic 90% of the time, but cannot argue with how reliable they are.
