To be fair that story, regardless of how ridiculous, is no worse than TASS which claims thousands of dead Ukies, and dozens upon dozens of destroyed vehicles/artillery pieces basically every day. Seriously I once tried to count up what they claimed was destroyed in just one month and I needed to use a fucking spreadsheet before I got fed up and quit trying.

Actually the audio recording and the time he took a swing were on two separate occasions, the yelling and the never come here again were recorded by a neighbor, the swing was recorded by Niki on video. So it happened at least twice.

Dear Worldcon 2024 board members,
I want to bring to your attention a matter of concern regarding the upcoming convention. Although it worries me to address this under my name, I recognize the importance of doing so openly, and with a client (Moniquill Blackgoose) nominated for two Hugos this year, I feel this concern even more acutely. It is with great consideration and a sense of responsibility that I feel compelled to express my reservations regarding the attendance of author Patrick Tomlinson.
I acknowledge that raising such an issue may be met with apprehension, but I firmly believe that the safety and well-being of all convention attendees should be our foremost priority. As a member of the science fiction and fantasy publishing and fan communities, I emphasize that my views are my own and do not represent any other individual, group, or organization. My intention is not to create division, but rather to address a pressing matter that impacts the safety and inclusivity of our convention space. But as things stand with Mr. Tomlinson expected to attend, I can't ethically recommend participation to my clients or friends, nor will I be attending.
For precedence, I call attention to the actions taken by other events, such as Penguicon and Gencon, in response to similar concerns. Penguicon made a strong statement in disinviting Mr. Tomlinson and citing his escalating actions in response to his harassers as the reason. It's also important to note that although Penguicon 2023 was supposedly targeted for a bomb threat according to Mr. Tomlinson, the facility that hosted the event was never informed of such a threat, calling the veracity of Mr. Tomlinson into doubt. Gencon made an even stronger statement in banning Mr. Tomlinson entirely, and although the details remain under wraps, such an action would only be the result of extremely poor behavior on his part.While I understand the complexity of these decisions, I believe it is essential for as to thoroughly assess the implications of Mr. Tomlinson's presence at our convention. Having personally witnessed the impact of Mr. Tomlinson's interactions at Worldcon 2022 (Chicon 6), I applaud these events for taking a proactive stance.
It is my sincere belief that Mr. Tomlinson's confirmed attendance poses a potential risk to the convention and to the safety of individual attendees, particularly those who may already feel marginalized within our community. I urge careful consideration of this matter to ensure that our convention remains a safe and welcoming environment for all.
I humbly request that the board thoroughly evaluate this matter and consider the broader implications for the safety and well.being of all attendees. Our collective commitment to fostering a positive and secure environment at the convention is paramount, and I trust that you will carefully deliberate on this issue. She has only spoken the truth Patrick. It'll be up to you to prove otherwise which I'd love to see as all you've been able to do is lie online which would hurt any such lawsuit.
Also, that's two clients that we know of who have won or have been nominated for awards. Something Patrick will never get.

Leslie would have to kept quiet for years. And avoided the gorgon stare of Jackie trying to ID quasi.
Leslie just got lucky to interact with the narcissistic pig man AND have the past training in psych to not have to get up to speed on what she was seeing/interacting with. Some of those 1st interactions could be taken as bait Patrick took and help confirm he's mentally unstable. Having training also let her chat up some of the pests allowing her to deal with Patrick.
Patrick's public attention seeking for years gave Leslie the easy material to cite in these letters. The Patrick 'there was a bomb threat to the hotel and it was about MEEEE!' storytelling is the tipping point for a con. Man is the victim of harassment and the harassers show up at the con is a risk. Weirdos show up at cons and that risk cons feel they can deal with. Defending the harassed man lets you flex how you are defending the innocent. Defending people on the margin is why cons have all the rules. But how do you handle the victim creating claims of his victimhood out of whole cloth with Patrick's version of the bomb threat? How can you be the hero defending claims of harassment when you make up a tale of bomb based crime harassment?
With a culture of 'believe victims' and the lack of a decided court case or sworn testimony the cons are stuck with a guy who says stuff didn't happen when documents show that yes, he did say the thing along with himself even telling himself to 'enjoy prison' there is no good reason for the con to explain themselves and open themselves up to a lawsuit with a guy who just might have arranged to swat himself so he can sue the MPD.
Due to his past lies and litigious nature why should a con let him in?

I was actually just perusing his timeline when I found out about this. Here are IMO the most likely ways he plays this
