Nah fuck that. If I was running for election and I got shot (in the same scenario as Trump), I'd interpret it as I'm so much of a threat, they have no other choice but to try to kill me. A definitive message saying, "the only way to stop you is to get rid of you", and the fact you're still breathing means they can't even do that. Why pussy out at that point?
