Registering for the other party for primary or caucus fuckery is pretty well known, especially for someone deep enough into political spergery to pick up a gun and try to dome a former president.

The one thing I really don't get is how this happened now and not 4-8 years ago. Back then there was a genuine air of vitriol surrounding Trump. He felt like the main antagonist of the entire Earth if you watched American news media. It seemed like a matter of time before someone would try to pull something like this.

But now Trump's energy is so much lower. You don't see trump signs in every other yard driving through the country like you did this time last election season. The media isn't portraying Trump as public enemy number one anymore because they know the scare tactics won't work after we saw how mundane a Trump admin was.
