Yeah, but the paranoia and vitriol in online spaces is far worse than last time. These people are holed up in their subreddits (and Twitter, Discord and Telegram groups but I'll use Reddit as the example) and since 2016 the political ones have gotten more and more extreme and more mixed in with trans and communist and whatever else wokeish shit. They isolate themselves and then whip themselves into an irrational frenzy. Just look in the trans threads where people are literally hysterical over a trans genocide that is not happening anywhere in the West.

Antifa seems like the most likely affiliation, but it's also possible he's a lone nut. At least mainstream media would be forced to acknowledge them.

I mean in 2016 and 2020 the average American really wasn't as pushed to the brink yet. In 2016 your shit lib friend probably was still friends and didn't freak out as they figured Clinton would win.
In 2020 Trump was president and had full security detail and secret service protecting the guy. Plus they wanted the man to lose in 2024 I see project 2025 really being used to gin up anger and get teh Blue anons to react.
You have to understand there were no real crazy antifa or wignats back in 2016 minus the PNW and maybe some obscure black Bloc in the DC area. In 2020 a lot of those shit lib friends didn't have work and free time and are basically angry with nothing to lose que George Floyd riots. During Floyd riots many radicals work together and get more militant and more armed. You ha e to understand right before shit gets really really bad there seems to he this very calm air. It's almost as if like if you don't know better you feel like things are going to get back to normalish then shit goes south.
