Assassinations are usually a really bad idea when they're like this. They're like scorched earth type shit. I don't think it was anyone other than a lone schizo who got radicalized by the general environment of leftist political thought and took things for real for real. Even as retarded as glowies and anyone who works at agencies is, this is like, the worst bad idea ever. There is no outcome where their side would come out smelling like roses. They would put CP on some computer they said was his type of shit to discredit him and lose him votes. Stuff like what happened makes him a folk hero of sorts alive or dead. It wouldn't help the cause at all.

So far the only thing this shooting accomplished is giving Trump one of the coolest photos ever, and reactivating a big part of the electorate who was checked out. That is only speculation on my part, but nothing says "this guy is legit" more than an assassination attempt.
Between this, and the debate Trump pretty much have bullet proof PR. I don't like Trump much, but I admire how he can turn attacks against him into his own strength. He only got into be a president in the first place because of the attacks by the media, which he basically used to make himself legitimate. Genius strategy. Brilliant, even.

I don't like the "God saved me" shit either, but it's the way most people think. And honestly it's not unlikely that the family of the guy who died will come out and also say that it was God's plan because he would have been happy to give his life for Trump, in which case Trump will look even better.

So I guess as good of a time to bring this tale out again.
I had a friend who was in law enforcment, and he told me about the time Lord PurpaDrink made a whistle stop in his city. This was planned months in advance, and about two weeks before Obama showed up, there were about a dozen gentlemen and ladies in suits show up at the station. Friend was assigned to one pair of these people, who were not SS agents but contractors (think Pinkertons but not) working for the SS. He was to take them around and generally assist them. This pair had a list of names and addresses all ready to go. Most of the names had some run-in with the police before, mostly small time disturbance of the peace shit (either the cause of or the reporter), and some were the local conspiracy crazies. His involvement was to drive them to the addresses, ID the addresses if it was an apartment, and they would drive around a bit at the address or wait at them for a little bit to see if they could see the person. They never left the car (he said another person doing escort duty said his team stepped out to look at a house you couldn't see from the road) didn't take pictures or even take notes. Just drive, eyeball the place, look for the resident, move on.
On Visitation Day, the police were told on their shift briefing:
Stay away from this list of addresses , and ignore any reports of suspicious persons in those areas unless cleared with command.
None of this information was given to the SS by the local police department, the SS already had their list of crazies to monitor.
So a lot of what the SS does is proactive threat monitoring because usually anyone politically motivated leaves a noticable wake. The reason the last two assassinations have been crazy people is because the system hasn't quite adapted to "Woke up this morning, went fucking crazy" types

Yes, this is how God works.
You might not like the person God chooses to be an instrument of heaven. You might not think they are a good person.
Noah wasn't a very good person. David and Abraham had serious, serious personality flaws and I don't think would play well with the media. If they were around, you'd probably think they were big old jerks.
But God doesn't choose instruments of divine will based on how sweet and kind they are, and notoriously doesn't shy away from the potential for collateral damage. If God saves you specifically, it means you have a mission to carry out, nothing more or less. It isn't a "good boy" badge. Being chosen doesn't mean you're perfect.
