Yea makes me wonder if the shooter was about to actually kill trump and the counter sniper made him miss and only clip his ear

I wouldn't celebrate if Biden got shot, it is a universally bad thing for a President to get shot.

Under these circumstances, as in Secret Service detail for a former president and active leading candidate at a political rally months before the election, this is absolute cope.

If you were on that rooftop, lying prone, aiming a fucking scoped object at Trump during the speech and you got taken out and it turned out you were just some doofus holding a telescope or a camera no sane person would argue that this outcome is unjustified or unreasonable. What you and others are proposing is that the SS security detail has less latitude to act than the resident of a state with reasonably strong stand-your-ground laws. I just don't believe that.

This was either extreme incompetence or deliberate incompetence.

Too many players in America now, it's like a damn Battle Royale. It'll be a god damn free for all on top of Boomers thinking the enemy is one-sided "Democrats".

If they have to wait until an assassin fires before they can respond they're fucking redundant.

They're 10/10 because there is an immense amount of adrenaline and raw emotion from a man standing in the face of death and saying "fuck you, you can't stop me"

Also there were probably like 100 photos that weren't as good you didn't see, cause all the press were taking a ton of photos. That one was just the defining one.

My take on the Secret Service Counter Sniper:
If the shooter kept low enough, he could have somewhat avoided the attention of the counter sniper until the shots were fired. This follows statements by witnesses saying the assassin was crawling low. While the law enforcement may have been notified, it depends on the agency the LEO works for as local police won't have access to USSS tactical frequencies. My best guess is that the assassin was noticed in about 30 seconds, it took another 30 seconds to find a cop, notifying the cop about the situation / location would take 15 seconds, the cop radios the command center and relays the information taking 15 seconds, command center processes information 15 seconds, another 15 seconds for an alert pushed out on all frequencies and a search for the shooter begins.


TImeline:
18:09:15 Shooter scales building at AGR International Inc.
18:09:45 Onlookers noticed shooter scaling and crawling on roof.
18:10:15 Witnesses find and notify law enforcement.
18:10:30 Cop notifies command center.
18:10:45 Command Center processes information,
1811: Shots Fired at Trump.

Idk man, I find it plausible that standing rules of engagement would be similar to what the military has to deal with.

If you identify the threat, you have to call it in and wait for instructions. The exception is you can return fire, but you can’t unilaterally initiate.

Makes sense to me

There wouldn't be any "Magatards" celebrating ... Mostly because a scenario like this wouldn't happen with Biden.

The Trump assassination attempt was almost 10 years in the making, because of the Democrats.
