I've seen footage claiming to be 7 minutes before the shots where both shooters are scanning the area with binoculars.

I believe that they would've seen the shooter climbing and getting into position. Fucking hell, people on the ground saw the shooter and saw that he had a gun right before the shots were fired.

I don't buy that the post is real. If that post was real then John would have to explain why he or the other guy never fired back when the shooter was in his cross hairs AFTER the shooter took his shot. They both get low in what looks like an attempt to get behind the crest of the roof. It sounds like there's a total of 7 shots, they all kinda have a hollow sound like hitting a tennis ball, before we hear a returned shot, that crack at the end. I don't believe it came from either one of them.

Dude was 20, it's not like young kids today are the bastions of personal moral codes or anything. Im a registered republican and havent even voted since '16. If he was donating to dems , those actions speak louder than checking a box imo. I doubt the antifa stuff is real, unless it is just some online interaction.

But that’s why you have one of your guys in a roof. It’s the middle of nowhere with a few roofs. One or two guys per roof surely is what you do? Somewhere there’s an email or record of this security plan being made and somewhere there will be actual SS guys saying ‘ we need a dude per roof’ and someone denying it. All this would have been avoided if they’d just had some guys in each roof. There’s only a few buildings.
Also they DO just blow people away for less than that. The Uk police shot a bloke carrying a table leg he was trying to fix, and they shot a bloke called John Charles de Menzies for just the suspicion of holding something. If you’re in a roof in a sniper position holding a long thing, in that scenario you’re getting shot. Surely?
Do we have a name on the poor chap who got killed?

Agree. He wont have donations or anything like that though - likely an online-radicalized discord kid if he was only 20, the best well get is chat logs and maybe a manifesto somewhere. Not to be gay but it does make me sad seeing a clearly misguided, visibly retarded young adult do something so stupid and get his brains blown everywhere. His high school photo has him in an America flag shirt. I wonder which agents were activating him. Also very curious about his experience with weapons...where was he practicing and with who?

the rifle bullet goes 3x faster, which means 9x more energy per unit weight. At that speed, the bullet blows a fist sized vacuum pocket into the wound which then crashes down on itself causing immense damage. that is simply not achievable out of a pistol, even a hand cannon. im a .45 enjoyer myself but from a pure destruction potential perspective no pistol can come close to achieving what a rifle can.
