Given his age and his status apparent highschool-loner status he might not have a large social media presence on places like Reddit, Twitter, or Facebook where we normally dig up shit. He probably has a Discord account and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the people he interacted with don't know him in real life so might not even make the connection that some person they've been talking to online for months or years just tried to assassinate the former POTUS.

This makes things a little bit more interesting. I don't know if it's true, but an earlier post had indicated that the gun was registered to his dad. I wonder if they go after the parents like that did to James and Jennifer Crumbly, the parents of the Michigan school shooter, where there were slightly similar circumstances. If this kid was off in the sort of way that he might want to go out in some kind of blaze of glory, they definitely should have known about it.

Other posters did some digging and found that mom (Mary) was a registered Democrat and dad (Matthew) was a registered Lolbert. Someone should start digging to see if they can find their social media accounts, as them having Facebook/Twitter are a lot more likely. It's plausible that one or both of the parents bought into the whole "threat to Democracy" line that Democrats and the media have been trying to spin for the last several years.

Are Mary and Matthew replaying some conversations that they might have had around the dinner table about the evil orange man and starting to realize that they might have radicalized their son and gave a mentally ill young man the impetus to try to assassinate the once and future POTUS? I wonder what they thought about the authorities when they went after the parents of Ethan Crumbly and starting to wonder about what might happen to them.

It's like every piece of news posted in here is an even worse fuck-up than the last. It's like watching a guy try to calm down a muslim by handing him varying different kinds of ham products in sequence not understanding why they're getting upset in the first place, and it'll probably end about as well if somebody with some fucking sense doesn't get in the ear of the fucking clowns.
