If the rumors are true that he fell into the hands of Antifa, it was probably the first time in his life he ever felt accepted in any way and a part of any group. Shooting Trump would have been the ultimate Antifa path to glory and he could be the hero of his little terrorist group. He had some hunt skills that he was taught when younger.

I am still curious to know if his father was dead. I don't trust the messages posted here that are supposedly from his mother. It could be a hacked account. The stupidity of those messages seem too over the top and on the nose.

Ignoring the fact that it put the crowd at lethal risk (because "Trump doesn't care about his followers and will kill them to advance his agenda") and that the shooter would have to be okay with dying for a fucking gayop (because "Trump supporters are deranged and would die for him"), the thing that should put this retarded "it was staged" argument to rest is the fact that he moved his head.

If the shooting really was staged, Trump would've been stiff as a fucking board to make it as easy as possible for the shooter to graze his ear, not moving his head around and making it even easier for things to go wrong and for his brains to get splattered on the ground. Well, actually, if the shooting was staged none of the bullets would've gotten near him to begin with, but both points apply.

I refuse to believe that the gunman was not a Trump supporter, because nothing's going to secure him the election like a failed assassination. Although TDS sufferers have down stupider things, I guess.

I'd have to confer with sniper experts, but that shot is impossible to intentionally make. Maybe he meant to completely miss, but intentionally shooting that close has too high of a risk of actually killing Trump.

I still believe that if it wasn't a TDS nutcase then it was an accelerationist that wanted to trigger a civil war. With life getting so shitty, a civil war where you can ignore your debt to the banks and ignore the bullshit from the higher government would be a godsend to some people. If he's bitter enough he may see this as a way to destroy the country he hates and is willing to lose his life to do so. I've had some dark moments where I felt like if i got one more push I'd find the proverbal self destruct button and push it hard, but those have passed. This guy is possibly the kind of guy where if the nuclear codes got leaked online he would fire them at D.C. and America's biggest cities

Before Saturday’s shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania, the last time there was an assassination attempt on a president or former president was in 1981. On March 30, Ronald Reagan was headed to his limousine after addressing the AFL-CIO at the Washington, D.C. Hilton hotel when John Hinckley opened fire. Tim McCarthy, the Secret Service agent who took a bullet in the chest protecting Reagan that day, had been dreading yesterday’s news.

“Well, I’m sorry to say, but it was probably going to happen,” he said on Sunday morning. “I was hoping against hope it wouldn’t happen but here we are, back here again.”

Reagan was gravely injured. James Brady, the White House press secretary, was shot in the head, leaving him partially paralyzed and with slurred speech. (After spending the rest of his life crusading for gun control, Brady died in 2014, his death ruled a homicide resulting from his injury.) Police officer Thomas Delahanty was shot in the neck and survived.

The motive of Trump’s would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, is unknown, but McCarthy couldn’t help wondering about his state of mind. “If you go back and take a look at John Hinckley, he was mentally ill. We go back to Squeaky Fromme, Sarah Jane Moore—can’t say much about Lee Harvey Oswald—but most of these other people had mental issues that were at least part of or had something to do with the motive.” McCarthy compared them to mass shooters as well, noting that “almost all of them have significant mental issues.”

After leaving the Secret Service in 1993, McCarthy spent 27 years as the police chief of Orland Park, Illinois before retiring. As he did, one of Hinckley’s bullets ricocheted off the limousine’s armor and hit Reagan in the back, going into his lung.

Watching yesterday’s video, McCarthy praised the Secret Service agents who ran on stage immediately to cover Trump. “Now I’m sure they would have liked President Trump to have been a little bit more cooperative,” he said with a chuckle, referring to Trump’s defiant fist shake as he exited the stage. “He reached out to reassure his followers, the country and the world, that he was okay, so that that worked out.”

Unlike Hinckley, who fired from ground level about 20 feet from the president, Crooks was positioned on a rooftop 400 feet away. “The obvious question is going to be — it doesn’t take a security expert — to ask why that building wasn’t covered better than it was,” McCarthy said.

Is there any evidence (i.e. arrest records, archived social media posts, etc) supporting the claim I keep seeing that Thomas Crooks was "a member of 4 different Antifa organizations" and was involved in rioting in multiple West Coast cities, or did someone just pull this out of their ass? At this point, I think we need a thread on the shooter to centralize all of the discussion happening in different threads on this site so people aren't constantly reposting the same pieces of info over and over again.

Fair, frankly though the line of reasonable doubt for me is that he has two jewish parents, 50's, one LP and one Democrat.
