And that's why you should carry. This, Parkland, and Uvalde show that even hardened cops are capable of becoming pussies when it matters the most.

I this his hands were a little bit busy with the fucking ladder to draw a weapon and not wanting to get blasted off and meet with gravity.

Does that make him a pussy? Do you think any other citizen would have been able to pull?

I have two associates as part of my team who are consistently low performers. I have been trying to fire them for years, but my company will not allow me to do so since individuals are graded on the bell curve. However, my company has a very strict social media policy where individuals may not make posts to which views might be misconstrued as those representative of the company. These two are client-facing.

I was tipped off that these two low performers have been spending hours on end making unhinged rants via multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn, condemning the shooter for missing, how there need to be more attempts, etc. Tomorrow morning, I’m going to strut into the Human Resources office and get their terminations expedited.

Don’t let a good disaster go to waste.
only time HR(Satan) is actually useful.

Not that it's entirely relevant, but Bethel Park is very much primarily middle to upper middle class. The only mall there houses an Anthropologie and a Pottery Barn and if you don't know what those two stores are, that speaks for itself. Lots of plastic surgery ads there. Predominantly white county that can go either way politically from what I've seen. I've not witnessed many a Trump banner/sign, so maybe it's safe to say most people there lean mostly left. Thought it was worth shedding some light on.

I just found this better picture of the two on the roof.

I thought the guy behind, or I guess more to his side, was just a spotter but he's armed too. This means two guys were looking right at him

and they both moved to cover after the first shot. I mean...could they not see him in his grey shirt on a grey roof? Did they think that it was one of their guys out of uniform?
Maybe? If you're the sniper right there wouldn't you be wondering that question? "There's no way they left that fucking roof completely ope..OH FUCK."
Youtube just suggested this video to me that kinda answers some of the questions I was having
In it he quotes some twitter account of a Lt. Tim McMillan.

At first blush, this makes sense. Attributing stupidity to something is usually the correct response over attributing malice. I can easily see the local police thinking that Secret Service has everything covered and I can see someone in Secret Service just kinda half ass explaining who's got what area to watch to what they think is a bunch of yokels. Assuming everything Tim said was true and assuming that someone in DC didn't plan this all out then that would mean that Trump almost got killed by bureaucracy's greatest weapon, communication breakdown. It's either that or the local cops of Butler PA are inept dipshits. I could believe either.

The youtube video does point out that the counter sniper guns look to be beefy 300 Win mags. With something that heafty I don't even think they would've even been sighted in at 100 yards and more like 200-300 yards. That kinda explains why after the first shot they both reposition. Why the one guy's head pops up off of the scope I can only guess. He also makes a very salient point which is the counter sniper teams are the last line of defense. The shooter never should've made it as far as he did. There were multiple layers of security that he somehow bypassed. By the time anyone even saw him he had already set up and had Trump in his crosshairs.

Trying to assassinate someone, let alone a former president, takes effort, planning, some degree of intelligence and intent. He knew exactly what he was doing. Him being 'mentally ill' had nothing to do with it. Stupid bitch should be investigated to find out exactly what ideas her and her husband were putting in this kids head
Was she having sex with her son?

Boy as someone who normally comes here only for the lolcow shit like Phil, those threads have almost ZERO in fighting, it's wild to see this site like this for me. Everyone accusing everyone else of mental illness whilst having a breakdown themselves. Maybe we really are the real lolcows.
Gradually, I began to hate them.

This has been a cornerstone of their beliefs about Trump since day one. They’ve always claimed, millions of times across countless personalities and pundits, that Trump would fold and cry with the slightest amount of danger. And now they know that bullshit has just been wrecked. It’s sort of beautiful ngl. And it would be just as good if the rightoids were so devastatingly wrong about something they made up for half a decade.

It's stupid because the same people will claim that Trump is a psychopath, and he very well could be, but isn't a lack of fear a symptom of psychopathy?

There wasn't even a minimum age to purchase a firearm. It was at the discretion of the store and the clerk. Notice how society didn't crumble under the weight of nearly unrestricted access to weapons? Turns out most people think selling guns to children is a bad idea, even if it is legal.

Some children even carried rifles to school back then. (I looked for the classic photo of the boy carrying his rifle to school but I couldn't find it. So here are some other similar photos.)

This is how I got rid of a shit project manager. He was making pro Hamas/anti Israel posts on Linkedin a few days before we had visitors in office from an Israeli company for the kick-off of a large contract.

History-making event occurs, possible spark to even worse things, and the most sober, even-handed and respectful discussion I’ve seen about it is on a forum for laughing at retards. Rest of Internet burning down over false-flag vs. Ordainment by God and here people are grimly accepting of what may be on the horizon and discussing battening down the hatches as best they can.

We really turned the keys over to the inmates over the last twenty years, didn’t we?
Yeah, funny, that. I created the account here because I wanted to know if it's really as bad over here as people claim it is. Actually, the rest of the internet, in particular all social media sites, are so much worse than the farms. Especially when something like this happens.

And no, we didn't turn over the keys to the inmates. Big corporations beat us over the head and mugged the keys from our backpocket and put a smartphone in there.
