However, my company has a very strict social media policy where individuals may not make posts to which views might be misconstrued as those representative of the company. I was tipped off that these two low performers have been spending hours on end making unhinged rants via multiple social media platforms, including LinkedIn, condemning the shooter for missing, how there need to be more attempts, etc. Tomorrow morning, I’m going to strut into the Human Resources office and get their terminations expedited.

Don’t let a good disaster go to waste.

As much as I would like to think that the FBI/CIA/Bugmen were trying to pull a Kennedy on Trump last night (which they absolutely would have if they knew they could get away with it), It's more likely than not that this was just a communication breakdown between the Secret Service and local cops.

When I was a college freshman, an important political figure (important enough to have a full security detail) came to speak at my university, where, as a student, I was working a part time job as a campus security dispatcher. My job was to sit at the desk and watch security cameras for eight hours, answer phones, and radio campus security when something was wrong. I was never out patrolling, and had only applied for the job a few months prior because I was told you were allowed to do homework on the clock.
