"Back then." I'm under 40 and we had rifles at our high school. The ROTC class had shooting qualifications. Years 9-11 would qualify on air rifles in the gym, while seniors qualified with .22 LR on the practice football field. All the rifles were maintained by the ROTC teachers and were kept in a standard gun safe in one of the PE equipment offices. Nobody thought twice about it, even the blue haired kids that had "BUSH IS A NAZI" scribbled all over their trapper keepers. The teachers were a retired Master Sergeant and Mastery Gunnery Sergeant.

For the first two weeks of November, every 3rd car in the student parking lot had a deer rifle or a shotgun hanging on the back window. Kids treated it like rims or a spoiler, and displaying a nice rifle would score you cool points. None of them were ever stolen and nobody thought twice about it.

My school district had 1 shooting in 50+ years, and it was a parent that shot a referee at a football game over a missed call in the 80s.

That's cool. (Genuinely, not "cool story bro".) But I was just pointing out that back then children could not only have their own rifles but bring them to school. Not just use school-owned rifles. This article refers to high-school students but from what I've heard and read before even actual prepubescent children could take rifles to school. Like I'm pretty sure the first 2 photos I posted were of the boys' own guns. (Probably the girls too, but they were high-school girls.)

“It was common for high school students to take their guns with them to school on the subways in the morning and turn them over to their home-room teacher or the gym coach so the heavy guns would simply be out of the way. After school, students would pick up their guns when it was time for practice.”

Reactions: Rem Farms
I’m seeing a lot of leftist hate. I’m a registered leftist and my job demands it because I make more money voting D. I don’t support what’s going on and have sat out the past two votes.
I’m drunk and my feelings are hurt, we’re not all bad.
Your feelings are hurt because you're a gigantic pussy. It's pretty clear why the leftist hate exists.
What the fuck job makes you money as a 'registered leftist? You shovel mule shit, act as cum dumpster rent boy for faggot D.C. representatives, or clean Chuck Schumer's toilets?

As I'm posting this, I'm on page 5041, and I've learned something from the time it got featured to now

That people on this site REALLY don't like to read... like at all... or even ever.

The amount of late posts would make one think KiwiFarms was actually a site for clock enthusiasts instead of lolcows, because that's all I've fucking seen in the past 24 hours.
Skimming can only do so much. At the height of the frenzy by the time you read one page three more have popped up, and if you step away for a while you'll return to 30 new pages. Unless Null puts a limited in so that people can't post more then once in 30 minutes all you can do is skip pages, otherwise you'd still be trying to catch up.

the only battlebox i want to see at the next debate.
That's a KO that's probably lined with lead and other nasty ass chemicals lmao. I only know this because I recognize that box as the Metal fight era one. I imported one when some group I was in got together a few times and started doing beyblade tournaments with the at the time new ones. Every beyblade under it is from the more expensive mildly lower quality burst era. There's also no logos on the box which adds to it.
I do agree though I wanna see em let it fucking rip and go shoot.
