It fits. Loads of people have talked about how people confronting Boogie on his bullshit just seem to get physically and emotionally drained dealing with him through frustration.
He's a Sympathy Leech, a fucking Pity Nosferatu, an Empathy Vampire.
He knows normal people feel sorry for pathetic fucks like him or for people with horrific back stories, so he uses it and plays on it to milk sympathy and deflect from any accountability.
He'll do the scummiest shit and if you call him on it he'll you how he was molested (a lie) or how he was bullied (deservedly) or how he has cancer (another lie) the man has no shame and no morals, he'll say anything he can to get people to give him a pass for repugnant behavior out of pity, and when cornered and people won't let him get away with his standard slimy behavior then he suicide baits fucking shamelessly. He's a disgusting human being.
People like Boogie are more common than you'd think, but ones as extreme as Boogie are thankfully rare, he's a covert malignant narcissist and a pathological liar, he's also probably a legit sociopath, he shows all the signs, manipulative, lack of empathy, zero shame, lying about despicable shit with zero remorse when he's caught, he's a malicious and vindictive piece of shit but he's also a weak coward who has to use manipulation and prey on peoples sympathy to get his way, people like Boogie are just draining to deal with, Empathy Vampire is the perfect description.
I'm just getting caught up on this wild ride and somehow I always forget just how friggin stupid Boogie is.

Sounds good in theory but it wouldn't have worked. He didn't have time. They wanted the proof right then, they wouldn't have given him time to get someone to put together a fake. The money was for him sharing his screenshot right then and there to confirm it.
They weren't giving him a couple days because its obvious what someone like this fat fuck would do given the opportunity.
Theres no way a guy like Boogie who has spent the best part of two decades trying to grift off of pity bux wouldn't have jumped at the chance to get that money if he could have confirmed it.
You could see on his face he was seething that he didn't have anyway to prove it and get the money, and so was his weird child bride when she had explained to her what he was missing out on, she backed him up when he called her in (of course) but you could see on her face as she realized what was on the table for him to prove it and that there was just no way he could prove it because he was lying.
I wouldn't be surprised if she bailed on him after that tbh.
