This is something else to keep in mind. Vance has competition for 2028 because Trump Jr. is -very clearly- gunning for the role himself. He seems to be aiming to be more brash than even his father but it does mean that Vance can't rest on his laurels and just coast by. He will have to compete for the slot.

Vance is for lower taxes and supports strict immigration as well. It's pretty telling when all of the Fox talking heads are melting down. Vance also admitted that an abortion ban is not politically viable and is a losing argument from a policy and moral standpoint.
