I’m concerned that this assassination attempt might raise Trump’s profile and actually net more votes.

That happened with Benazir Bhutto (died November 2007, from what I know it was an IED), in Pakistan.

But, there had been an attempt on her life in similar circumstances a few months’ earlier. Security team and supporters took the hit instead.

…It just made her seem stronger. She also did the “I’m unafraid” shtick that Trump did at his rally. She got much more popular.

There were accusations she was corrupt and out of touch in some ways, but she wasn’t about to start World War III.

Raising the profile of a very old man with anger issues and serious health problems isn’t something that a country should do.
Shut the fuck up retard we're closer to WW3 than we were during trumps Presidency and i guarenfuckingtee you if trump had won last time Putin would have been too fucking scared to fuck with ukraine, also trump wouldn't have let the EU keep poking the bear.

It is kind of funny. All this milquetoast music is putting the Whites under trance for the next half hour for their programming.

Vance is for lower taxes and supports strict immigration as well. It's pretty telling when all of the Fox talking heads are melting down. Vance also admitted that an abortion ban is not politically viable and is a losing argument from a policy and moral standpoint.

He even has the staunch pro lifer abortion for any reason is a sin and I won't vote for it up in arms because he admitted as much. God these people are truly the dumbest they would rather lose then compromise 1% you literally can't make this stuff up

https://revolver.news/2024/03/trumps-secret-weapon-senator-jd-vance-vp/ Fairly decent article about Vance.
I'm a anti abortion guy, religious, even then, I've been pleased that the STATES have been given back the ability to make their own laws on the matter. That's where Trump is, and as long as Vance stays there, he's going to be fine.

Do you think Trump is going to change his stances on immigration or say that he doesn't want to cut American's taxes again like he had done before? I can't even imagine what you're on about with this.
I'm really hoping that he goes through with removing the payroll tax personally. Self employment shouldn't be penalized.

Perhaps.

Honestly to get it out of the way if anyone here is one of those right-wing dissident types who think Trump doesn't go far enough on certain things, the same can most likely be said for Vance.
He's a turbo-Shabbos Goy, just like Trump. I like the guy I just do not like the constant Israel and jew worship, especially when it's inconsistent with the rest of his policies.
We can't afford to help Ukraine, who will actually be grateful and has the ability and desire to repay us? But we can park an entire USMC division and Carrier Strike Group right off the Israeli coast because they got slapped around a bit?
The same Israel that sells our tech to the Chinks?

Typical jew worship at the expense of white countries.

republicans would have it in the bag if they stuck to lower taxes and immigration. picking a heartland culture warrior will backfire. abortion is a huge liability for him already
abortion was a huge issue in 2022 and absolutely gave the dems a huge bump. unfortunately, that was a one-time video game pick up boost and it's all used up

blue states have the same amount of abortion rights as before, like they want. red states have less, although whenever it's put to a referendum vote the religious nutjobs get smacked down with their anti-abortion nonsense. purple states are working out what they want to do. the supreme court declined to hear the mifepristone case

it has much less of an effect this time, unless you're a neurotic single woman who spends all your time getting news from reddit. but you were going to vote blue anyway

I think the biggest issue the country faces is corruption. Uncontrolled immigration is only a symptom of corruption. Lower taxes ease the effects of inflation but inflation is also a symptom of corruption. Trump should focus his platform more heavily on draining the swamp. I get why he isn’t though - only his base really cares about reducing government corruption and he’s trying to peel more votes away from Biden.

Abortion is an extremely divisive issue. It’s best for everyone that the states are in charge of it now. It encourages people to self-select and move to a state that reflects their values more closely. Republicans should be miserable living in a blue state and visa-versa.

you'll see.

I feel like Vance is a bad pick because he has his own brand and identity to push. Some people can do that as VP but Trump really needs a dude who'll just sit in the background and be irrelevant. I almost wonder how long things will last before Trump and Vance are at each others' throats.

Demolition Ranch posted his response about the shirt.
Yeah, it is just a shirt, but you know how journos are.

Nice to see the ratio/support he's getting, the likes rolled over four times while I was watching and and one more time while I was typing this (and one more while I was making sure I didn't embarass myself with a typo in such a short post lol [and also another while I typed this addendum:

"In my experience, Jews, whatever their political affiliation, are pretty patriotic.

They care a lot about living in a country that’s prosperous and free, and they don’t see Western civilization, which obviously has deep roots in the State of Israel and in the Jewish tradition, as something that’s evil and needs to be rejected but as something that needs to be built upon.

When the left talks about Israel as sort of an evil colonizer apartheid state, I think that’s a pretty radical departure from how politicians have talked about the State of Israel.

Even in the last decade, it’s changed pretty dramatically, and I think most Jews probably recognize what I’ve seen."

- J. D. Vance

What makes you think that?

Crooks is a deeply suspicious figure. Counselor parents? Check. Starred in a BlackRock commercial? Check. No social media presence at his age? Check. Guy's a fucking phantom. The perfect patsy. Deep State scum love using those types of faceless nobodies to do the dirtiest of their dirty work.
I'd believe the masters behind the curtain picked him for that reason, because they'd be too high and mighty to research that Crooks was hard coded for complete failure.

Regardless of what else can be said about Vance, going from Donald Trump critic to potential vice president of Donald Trump in less then a decade is quite the career path. Something so dramatic isn't seen very often.
It's straight out of a reality television show. I think his strength for dramatics is pretty good. It's very well put together. First the failed assassination, the photo op he made of it, and now an enemy turned ally being his right-hand. It's a good narrative.
