If your doctor suspects, even remotely, that cancer is on the table, they do not fuck you around. They come right out and say, look, these results of X have me concerned, so I will order *PLETHORA OF TESTS TO ENSURE REDUNDANCY AND NARROW DOWN THE CULPRIT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE*. Even the gentlest doctor is going to lay it on the table as plainly as they can to get the point across. This isn't a 'you should consider' line of questioning. It is a 'These tests are ordered, you will do them, here are your requisition forms' command.
