I have personally found Kratom to be an excellent tool for boosting my mood when i'm feeling low or stuck in a rut and flirting with a period of depression, it's natural and affordable and it actually works well and fast. I'm using an infused green kratom capsule so it's a bit stronger but the dose is 3 caps out of a bag of 150 caps that cost me $30. It works great and it will last me basically an entire year because I only use it when I need a boost, (chasing highs is for retards kids, don't do it) the rush of dopamine it provides is great at resetting the brain when it's being a downer and it also releases tension in my back and relieves stress too which is great for someone who's overworked and constantly having to clean up after other idiots. I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try if you're finding yourself struggling to keep happy or positive thoughts or are just feeling weighed down by stress and anxiety.

dude weed lmao

But for real though, I find taking a puff or two of weed before doing chores or running errands gives me a nice boost of motivation and can make the whole process more enjoyable. Also smoking and doing yoga has helped me though several injuries. Hardcore potheads give the drug a bad name, it's fantastic if you don't revolve your entire life around it.

Sometimes my upper back locks up and a couple drinks helps it relax so I can move. I never do it more than a day a week though but thankfully that one set of drinks usually straightens out the issue for quite some time (as in weeks/months, not just 'the rest of the evening'). Alcoholism runs in my family so if it ever were to become a persistent issue I'd definitely get it taken care of properly because I don't want to risk enjoying the treatment too much. I don't really enjoy the feeling of alcohol anyway so I'd probably be alright either way but just not something I want to risk

I also have a weird blood sugar problem. Not diabetic (A1C, fasting, and post meal glucose levels are all fine) but it prevents me from getting adequate sleep. I started taking a berberine supplement before bed and it's almost completely stopped. If you're pre-diabetic and don't want to take meds I highly recommend giving it a shot to stabilize things, probably best to take it with meals. One thing to be careful with if you're already on diabetes meds, it does have an interaction with Metformin in certain situations. You can take them together and it's fine, but if you take the berberine first and the metformin a few hours later your body will start to build up metformin, so don't take berberine with dinner and then take metformin before bed, basically

I also take a ton of fiber and despite family history of very severe cholesterol issues (lots of massive heart attacks well before 40 on otherwise very healthy/not obese family members) my numbers are amazing. They were getting high, approaching the point of being problematic and leading to likely needing meds to get it under control, but I started doing the fiber and it just plummeted even without exercise. Once I started exercising I basically cut the numbers in half. I take 2tsp of psyllium husk (metamucil, basically, but I just get it without flavoring/sweetener) and 2tsp of dextrose (benefiber, wheat starch) in the morning, and then another tsp of each around lunchtime, or before I head home from work if I didn't take it at lunch, then maybe another tsp of each before bed if I'm feeling spicy. A tsp of each in a powdered protein shake is actually really pleasant if you let it sit for a bit, it thickens it up just the right amount to make it feel like a meal

A classic I think everyone should know is pickle juice for cramps. If you've been in the heat and sweating all day and start cramping up a shot of pickle juice will knock it out basically immediately, it's shocking how fast it works, like literally 15-20 seconds

Man kratom's gotta be big business at this point. How many internet weirdos below a certain age aren't taking it? They've got it in gas stations now too, although I wouldn't trust any products sold in a gas station to not have lead shavings in it. By 2050 90% of men in the US are going to be on either kratom or prescription ADHD meds, probably both.

And as for chasing highs being for retards, here's a bit of street knowledge: every single addict, before they got hooked, said it won't happen to them and only idiots get addicted. Every single one. They all think only dumbasses could get into it and if their use ever starts developing into a problem they'll just stop.

Will that necessarily happen with something like kratom? Idk, and I'm guessing it won't be as serious if it does, but what's also pretty dumb is assuming that taking substances that provide an immediate neurochemical mood boost isn't getting high, and that addiction is only for lesser folk.

I tried going cheap once and bought bulk psyllium fibre at the bulk food store.

Pay the extra for the Metamucil.

I don’t think I’m eating it right. I won’t go into detail but drink lots of water, whoever you are and for any reason.

I would get an IV drip if I knew how to put one in that’s how important I have found hydration to be

Metamucil is simply an insoluble fibre that both bulks up and softens stool by encouraging more water to remain in the large intestine.

When it comes to laxatives, it's best to stick with the natural passive ones if used regularly.

Theoretically, the stimulant laxatives like Senna can be habit forming since they work as irritant laxatives that stimulate the local nerve network within your lower gut.

Habitual Senna users actually start dyeing the inside of their gut with black spots (melanosis coli), though it's thought to be cosmetic and isn't linked to things like colon cancer.

Word. I tried the Great Value equivalent and it was extremely unpleasant.

I want to say we're all outing ourselves as old faggots for taking Metamucil, but most people just aren't regular enough. Especially Americans. You can almost always be more well-hydrated or regular.

I think a large glass of bleach will take care of all your problems.

So i listened to someone talking recently about the benefits of GHB as a sleep/workout aid. Has anyone had expertise with it?

A depressant as a workout aid? It would definitely work for sleep, I have pretty horrible insomnia and I might actually look into that. But how would it be ergogenic? I'm actually pretty curious.
