i correctly called this case getting sent back to utah. i'm now calling the following: this case will be a loss for null and the farms. i don't want it to be, but that's what my gut is telling me. and my gut has been good to me.

There is one problem with this. The case would have to end and Greer would have to successfully litigate this case. Greer doesn't have money to pay a lawyer to do it either.


This case will be stuck like this until Greer actually gets a lawyer or until Null and Hardin find some way to get it dismissed.

I like the route of destroying everything because of this case. But if you destroy something like fair use and strengthen copyright even more I don't think there will be any reform for a very long time.

Google and a lot of the other tech companies are simply too fucking retarded and hubristic to do what they need to do to survive. Publication and production companies are slowly dying to the internet, but they still have plenty of resources and they still have quite the legal and lobbying departments, not to mention their ability to create publicity for politicians. It will be a while before Pro-Copyright people get taken down.

the court is all but litigating this in his name. he makes incorrect arguments, the court substitutes it with correct arguments and gives him a win he would never merit in any other situation. i don't forsee this being a quick route, but i think we will trudge through unearned russ victory to unearned russ victory, until we achieve total russ victory.

Just do nothing yourself for another year while Greer continues to do nothing because he's an idiot and then file for a motion to dismiss. Or just continue to do nothing because that's probably the sanest course of action. Anything that Hardin files compels Russ to respond with even more retarded shit, but Russ doesn't seem to have any impetus to actually do what he's supposed to in order to move the case forward.

Remember, he just wants to be in a lawsuit against the Farms more than anything else and even as soon as this case does get dismissed because even the court has had enough, he'll either appeal or failing that, file a new suit against you for something equally retarded.
