Was it divine intervention?

A striking image of a tangled US flag that appears to resemble an angel has the internet convinced that former President Donald Trump was protected by a higher power when a deranged shooter tried to assassinate him at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Saturday.

Video shared online shows Old Glory twisted into a distinctive silhouette, sending attendees and social media commentators into a spin.

“The flag got tangled today at the Trump rally before Trump came on stage. Looks like an angel,” X user @TheWakeninq wrote on the social media site alongside a clip of the flag moving in the wind.

The spectacular video, which has been viewed more than 8 million times, quickly drew hundreds of comments from people convinced it was a sign.

“The Holy Spirit was definitely there protecting him yesterday,” one person responded.

“We are living in historic times! The fingerprints of the divine all over,” another echoed.

“I just got goosebumps,” a third user admitted.

Others, meanwhile, contended that the flag looked like a bald eagle — America’s national bird symbolizing strength and freedom.

“I saw an eagle first – GOD BLESS AMERICA,” an X user commented.

“Looks like a giant beautiful bald eagle also,” another said.

It's easy to point at this and call it coincidence, but with jack black cancelling his tour, microsoft sacking the DEI's and musk moving his HQ out of california, not to mention the whole world descending into chaos and carnage, it does seem like evil just kicked square in the arse by good.

Could it have been God? Yes.

I guess God didn't feel like protecting the guy who took the bullet. Didn't even feel like sparing him a lethal injury, apparently.

The rain falls on the good and the bad, and those who died in the collapse of the tower at Siloam were no more sinful than their neighbors. Some things are just luck.
