States must approve Constitutional amendments. Maybe he's hoping to get some of those on the ballot in November to help Dem turnout? It's the most desperate move ever if so, their internal polling must have cratered. Fundraising too. Anti-Trump ads for the amendments wouldn't be for Biden so would skirt contribution rules as well.
This whole amendment thing is, as far as I can tell, has not been formally announced by the white house yet. He just blurted it out and said he shouldn't talk about it.
What are the odds that this isn't a plan that they have at all, its just some fever dream his demented mind came up with off the cuff? Bonus points if the reason why he "shouldn't talk about it" is because he already suggested it to his staff and they shut him down and told him not to mention that nonsense to anybody.

Huckabee Sanders recently recovered from thyroid cancer.

Bet she's on ozempic to help prevent the weight from packing on. Thyroid issues can make it hard to lose weight. Thyroid issues can also cause correlation with diabetes.

So, if she's on ozempic, then it's definitely for good reason.
With that knowledge in mind, I'd imagine the weight loss was from chemo. I feel like shit for mentioning it if that's the case.

That sucks. The chick could hold her own. Why did that happen?
McEnany supported Desantis pretty early on in the primaries. Back in June 2023, Trump accused her of promoting some fake poll numbers on Fox that had Desantis gaining ground against him, after the poll's authors corrected Trump's numbers upwards by about 10%.

Once Desantis collapsed in the polls, she switched to supporting Trump. I really don't think anything else has happened, far as I've seen she supports Trump and has for months now. She was defending Vance yesterday.

Ozempic is not recommended for those with a history of at least some forms of thyroid cancers. I think it increased thyroid cancer in rats or something like that.

basically any time you're juicing you have to remember your tumors are sucking down that juice too

Btw, Ben Carson had the most underrated 2016 debate moment.

When all the GOP candidates were asked to tout what they are most proud of with their professional lives, each candidate gave pretty typical answers. When it got to Carson, he modestly said, "Well, I'm most proud of separating conjoined twins."

You could feel that the vibe of the debate stage changed because the rest of the candidates were served some humble pie by being reminded who the smartest guy in the room actually was. It was so, so great.
