It was a flagrantly fucking disrespectful thing to do and they have every right to be pissed off at that. Fuck the media for burying the lede.
To be quite honest, I don't give a shit what Evangelicals think. They had a wave of cultural dominance and squandered it on a Satanic panic and sexual morality obsessions. They are now starting on the same path of irrelevance that the mainline Protestants are on, and good riddance.

At first, I thought it was funny that Destiny was being wrung through the wringer over his 50 hour spergout. But seeing people getting cancelled for expressing their opinions will always be really fucking gay.

I'm also disappointed in Libs of TikTok for doing this shit. I guess she already forgot about all the shit Taylor Lorenz did trying to Karen her into silence.
I wanted to agree with you, but how many years now have the woke shitLibs been pulling the "freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences" line? I'm not going to shed a tear seeing it used against them for the first time. They aren't going to stop, so use their shitty tactics against them.

he wants to be Shemp but he's Curly Joe Derita
Worse…he’s Joe Besser.

I find I am incredibly apathetic here. Yes on the principles I should oppose it... I am just finding it hard to -care-. They have done this so long to the right that I think the schadenfreude of it is about equal tot he moral indignation. So its just.... nothing.
This encapsulates my exact feelings when Roe v. Wade was overturned, and we were bombarded with shrill harpies screeching to CALL YOUR REPRESENTATIVES!! ORGANIZE ORGANIZE ORGANIZE!! WAAAUUGH!! MUH BODILY AUTONOMY!!!

Mind you, this was after two fucking years of the very same people demanding that those who didn’t abide by poison shot/COVID mandates be shunned from the workforce and society, and begging the government to infringe on their personal liberties via tighter restrictions with each passing day. The total abandonment of their alleged support for bodily autonomy once they got a little scared over a glorified chest cold (and in some cases, due to wanting to differentiate from their political opposition) led to me being wholly unable to give a shit. And I’m a pro-abortion individual by principle. Like you said, the schadenfreude over the blatant hypocrisy from a fundamentally hateable collection of fuckheads leads to indifference, even if I technically side with them on that particular issue.

To be quite honest, I don't give a shit what Evangelicals think.
I don't either and commiserate with the sentiment - albeit for different reasons I'm sure - but they do have a legitimate reason to be pissed off for once. I don't know about you, but I dislike the media burying a lede and thus lying by omission about this more than I dislike evangelicals being retarded patsies for big gov, Israel, and the MIC.

These are the same people who have gotten others fired for a decade for saying things like "men are different than women." I'd prefer LoTT not go out of her way to direct her fanbase to get people fired, and would prefer her just spotlighting these people's public comments for the world to see. But I don't really feel anything for them, because starting 10 years ago I realized that if I ever used any form of Internet media under my own name I would be subject to leftists doing this exact same thing.

These individuals live in parts of American society that are so homogenous and vile towards conservatives that they honestly believe it's normal to say these things. Every single one of them would want both you and me exiled from society for having an account on KF, once they read what the Wikipedo troons have slanderously written about the forum. While I don't feel good, I also don't feel bad for them whatsoever. Once they think it's tough to have to use unique usernames everywhere, employ forwarding email proxies, and think in every post whether they're practicing good infosec by not leaving breadcrumbs for autists to identify them with—all just to protect their ability to freely post on the Internet—then we can talk.

. Vaush Starts Tweeting Again Simping For Destiny

IMG_6491.jpeg

Out of nowhere, Vaush has decided to come back to Twitter after his own outrageous statements about the victims of the shooting that took place. He has retweeted a few leftist memes shitting on Trump supports, and feeling apathy towards whatever violence that the victims faced. Moreover instead of addressing things in a genuine matter, Vaush does a dishonest framing of the situation. The framing goes “(insert word) did this therefor I should not feel any sympathy for such group, and can say whatever rhetoric I want about (insert word) even if it’s violent.”

Vaush should die like Mr.Hands or die due to a pissed off farmer catching him in a act with one of the horses. Either way that horsefucker should die for the betterment of humanity.

If we're still doing Coolidge anecdotes, my favourite one is that he's one of the few presidents to take the oath of office not in DC. His predecessor, Harding, had a heart attack and died on the night of August 2nd. Coolidge was staying with his dad in Vermont, and so at 2:30am on the 3rd, Coolidge received the oath from his father. And so the first thing Silent Cal did as President was go back to sleep.
I like the one story where Coolidge was at a party, and as he was known for barely saying anything most of the time, some random guy came up to him and said, "Hey Cal, I bet this other guy that I could get you to say more than 3 words right now," and Coolidge smiled at the guy and then said, "Go fuck yourself." And then he stayed silent for the rest of the night.

Totally fucking based.

No. Stop this shit.

Holding them to their principles is not the same as violating yours. Anyone trying to convince you that it is, either hasn't realized this themselves or is some nigger's piss-poor attempt at manipulation.

This sentiment is a large part of how Alinsky bullshit works on people. Don't let it work on you.
That’s exactly it: people must have the emotional discipline and tolerate the discomfort of holding others accountable. If not, people will continue to be fired and blackballed for not declaring their pronouns or arguing with bike swiping black teenagers. Is it more ethical to have them suffer instead of the leftists who have created this milieux and now call for political assassinations at their job? Cancel culture cannot end without some messiness.

That is the black and latino vote
Oh lord stop thinking every place in the US is like Utah; Trump was always popular with blacks way before he became President, at least in NYC. Same with hispanics, in a way someone like Bloomberg never was. I remember asking a hispanic livery cab driver what he thought of Bloomberg and he laughed: "Oh sure he worked for a dollar a year but guess what? He had a interest in every contract, every service NYC provided, through his so called blind trust. Trump was already a millionaire when he was born, he doesn't have prove anything to anyone". Trump appeals to people who came from banana republics, thinking this was a better place but as Sunday showed we really aren't that much different.

I'm not sure Trump/Vance will be enough to stop the mess the Democrats/RINOS made of the US though. It's institutional this point and you need someone like FDR (whether you like him or not he did what needed to be done) to force the rot out and put people in place that have the interests of the US first and not their bank accounts.

This is a tendency I've noticed on the American right. There's a (small, but very loud) subset of them that almost seem to take pride in being loudly ignorant because it's either a misguided way to 'own the libs' or just bargain bin contrarianism. I think part of it stems from the country's historical Puritanism (you see this with how dogmatic the American left can be as well). Seeing the evangelical protestant right's collective heads explode over the Sikh thing just shows that they cannot handle the fact that the old school evangelical right is not in control anymore. The tradcath sphere has likewise been making a surprised Pikachu face over the continued total support for Israel at the RNC. I don't know what they expected.
This shit again. Historical Puritanism put a huge emphasis on education to the point that the intellectual capital of the world is New England.

Absolutely nothing because that's the privilege he and his fellow faggot leftists have enjoyed for a full decade.

I will repeat it until I personally get tired of repeating it (never):

It takes beyond reasonable doubt, and what I like to call preferential doubt, to espouse the opinion that he's anything other than a leftist.
I completely agree. I don't think he's conservative at all, and it shouldn't be a question. I just also feel that it doesn't even matter, and arguing it is pointless because it's not a win even if he were right wing: he'd be a moderate Never Trumper influenced entirely by the MSM, not the Ben Shapiro With A Gun they want him to be.

Also, re: the whole canceling people thing. It feels insincere to compare the two situations.
1 - George Floyd is not an innocent bystander. Even if you feel he was murdered by Chauvin, it's still a different situation than mocking an innocent bystander in a rally who died protecting his family.
2 - Whether they were in bad taste or not, they were actually memes. They were attempts at dark comedy. So far everything I've seen mocking the firefighter has not in any way been 'dark humor'. It's been hostile mockery that goes quite far beyond most Floyd comments or memes.
3 - Most of the people the left have doxed and gotten fired didn't even make Floyd jokes. They said a no-no word, supported the wrong person, donated to Trump's campaign, or refused to decry some person or act (be it j6 or the latest accused rapist)

Reporting people encouraging assassination attempts of former, current, or future presidents and targeted harassment of the family of a victim is simply not the same thing. There's a reason why you won't get a knock on the door because you say 'maybe don't be a criminal and we won't have to keep killing you' when responding to the latest black guy shot in the back by a cop but you will if you encourage a hit on the president.

Yep - that’s the gist of how Mormonism works. In Mormonism, God and the “heavenly mother” were both pious schmucks, married and living in a previous universe that was created by God’s God. @WelperHelper99 can confirm.

All in all, I think it’s a fascinating idea. Gods reproduce by creating universes with mortals in it. The mortals that are worthy go on the become gods themselves. This, of course, raises the question of where the 1st God came from. Sadly, this question isn’t addressed in Mormon doctrine but it’s interesting to think about.
Doesn’t address it, purely my own headcanon, but I like to think it’s actually infinitely recursive into the past.

Theory: CIA (or someone) finds a loner kid with the right attitude for what they want, brush up his rifle skills enough to do the job. Convince him they have a secret important mission for the sake of democracy, that he has to keep on the down low.
Dunno what to do with Hanlon's Razor here: either they incompetently tried to protect Trump or they incompetently tried to kill him.

As a culturally Christian agnostic: if I had my way, I'd not only repeal the Hart-Cellar Act, but specifically prioritize immigrants by their cultural compatibility with our Anglo-American founding ideals. That position is still outside the Overton Window, which is one of the reasons why I won't run for office (besides the fact that my username checks out IRL). Until that happens, I am fine with Sikhs living here. My experience with them has been that they are hard-working, entreprenurial, friendly and serious in their faith. They compare favorably to Hindus who tend to be haughty and lazy, although I have noticed that the more seriously faithful Hindus are exceptions. And from a purely aesthetic perspective, Sikh liturgy and ceremony absolutely demolishes the soft-rock motivational speaker bullshit that you'll find at any given Evangelical church. Evangelicals deserve to be in the political wilderness simply for how stupid and ridiculous their entire practice has become.

Sikhs are an incredibly small minority anywhere in the world, including India (only around 1.7% are Sikh). It's very hard to convert to Sikhism and they're forbidden from evangelising.
