People have been talking lately about how AI is going to take so many jobs. The first, absolutely, ought to be government jobs. There is no better way to cut costs than to automate bureaucratic functions. It has the added benefit of eliminating avenues for corruption, bias and incompetence

I''m telling you the last jobs ever that'll go are the red tape stamping idiots. They are set for life, and that's it. They literally can't be laid off, and can only be fired with cause.

I may be able to offer some insight into this. I was peeing on the grassy knoll during the JFK assassination. The video itself proves absolutely nothing. Bullets go through things. 5.56 NATO, the alleged cartridge fired at Trump, is notorious for going through things. People underestimate how fast an autoloader can fire accurately; especially within 300 meters (330 yards). The alleged shooter was within 300 meters of Trump and probably using an autoloading firearm. Civilian legal autoloading firearms are capable of rapid fire that can, to those without a CIB, sound like fully automatic weapon fire or multiple shooters discharging their weapons at the same time.

Within 300 meters your average 5.56 NATO projectile is flying well above the speed of sound. The bullet will impact a target within that distance well before the sound of the shot is heard by anyone at the bullet destination. This is why you could kill The Flash with a gun. Within certain distances he wouldn't know he was being shot at until the bullet hit him because he would not be able to hear the sound of it coming at him and enter the speed force in time to dodge the bullet. No one will ever know how Trump was able to enter the speed force and dodge the bullet but that's a topic for another time. For now we'll just assume Trump was moving his head as the shooter was pulling the trigger.

The shooter allegedly fired multiple rounds. One round can go through many targets; especially unarmored ones. The flight path of the bullet may be altered by the bullet deflecting off metal, bone, or a particularly stiff erection. The bullet may shatter into multiple pieces that will almost certainly follow diverging and difficult to predict flight paths. The 5.56 NATO projectile was designed to tumble and shatter upon hitting a target. Thus one projectile could, to the administrative MOS, appear to be many.

Additionally the 5.56mm NATO was designed for rapid target engagement in virtually any shooting position as described in the Kama Sutra. The round generates less recoil than larger rounds such the 155mm rocket assisted projectile used to send Harambe to heaven where he rests in eternal peace and light.

The alleged shooter was lying on his belly when he shot at Trump. This shooting position is known in the Kama Sutra as the prone position and is arguably the most stable unsupported or unsupported shooting position. From this position virtually any shooter of any skill level could rapidly fire several well aimed shots within a very short period of time.

In conclusion. Bullets go fast. Bullets drive thru things some time. Even moron may shoot some guns very fast. Even bigger moron think one shooter firing very fast are many shooters. BTW, for those reading, this is because the South (the South in general is "American" ancestry, it's just that Appalachia is Whiter so less Blacks dragging the number down) never had large scale immigration like the rest of the country. It is literally the Colonial British-American ethnic group and so people there think little in terms of ancestry unless it is to distinguish themselves from other regions (muh Scots-Irish/Cavalier heritage).

The South is literally the purest part of the US in terms of direct descent from the society of the Revolution.

The only other parts of the country that have that are the upper New England states where "English" means original Colonial American (so-called WASP) and Mormon Country (where English means New Englander mixed with actual 19th Century English convert-immigrants).

Yep - that’s the gist of how Mormonism works. In Mormonism, God and the “heavenly mother” were both pious schmucks, married and living in a previous universe that was created by God’s God. @WelperHelper99 can confirm.

All in all, I think it’s a fascinating idea. Gods reproduce by creating universes with mortals in it. The mortals that are worthy go on the become gods themselves. This, of course, raises the question of where the 1st God came from. Sadly, this question isn’t addressed in Mormon doctrine but it’s interesting to think about.

I find I am incredibly apathetic here. Yes on the principles I should oppose it... I am just finding it hard to -care-. They have done this so long to the right that I think the schadenfreude of it is about equal tot he moral indignation. So its just.... nothing.

Yeah, I stopped caring about the moral high ground after they decided a man wasn’t good enough to pick up trash for ooking. These people hate you and want you dead. And they think it’s funny. I can’t bring myself to care about one of them getting fired.

This is a tendency I've noticed on the American right. There's a (small, but very loud) subset of them that almost seem to take pride in being loudly ignorant because it's either a misguided way to 'own the libs' or just bargain bin contrarianism. I think part of it stems from the country's historical Puritanism (you see this with how dogmatic the American left can be as well). Seeing the evangelical protestant right's collective heads explode over the Sikh thing just shows that they cannot handle the fact that the old school evangelical right is not in control anymore. The tradcath sphere has likewise been making a surprised Pikachu face over the continued total support for Israel at the RNC. I don't know what they expected.
