I'm more interested in the DNC's financial situation. Funding must be dying up for Biden's reelection and without donations his family may end up in the poor house. the rest of the party could potentially experience funding shortages if it gets bad enough that prevents then from running their "voter outreach" programs.

The best thing about the shooting is that it gave Biden a break from his civil war. The pressure is off and he doesn't have to resign. Now the Dems are stuck with him and his mental health will only collapse further.

I personally have strong suspicions of conspiracy - and that the kid knew it but thought he was part of the in-crowd, not the disposable one - I'm just not willing to commit because there may be a decent explanation buried under all the dross still.


There's a movie, I forget which one, where the protagonist does a suicide run to assassinate a crooked politician who was guaranteed to win. The protagonist does not succeed in killing him, but the politician grabs a baby and hides behind it, destroying his political career. This is a movie and therefore plotting your real life conspiracies around it is incredibly stupid. but the fact is some people can't differentiate between reality and fiction and those people would definitely think an attempt would be win-win.

Think less cartoon and more "Trump cowering behind his SS detail, being hurried off like he was Clinton at a public event". Something that makes him look week and cowardly.

The reason I'm certain that they didn't intentionally set this up to get him killed is because the time for that was months ago, not now. Not two weeks after two dozen Democrat politicians burn through political capital attacking their own President. Not days after Obama uses his celebrity surrogates to attack Biden. They were still on their "we'll just shout Project 2025 endlessly" plan, and were on the verge of finally pushing Biden out, and probably installing Whitmer as the candidate.

My simple counter is... 2 months is no time at all in bureaucracy. And more importantly it is -before- the events that made Biden verboten. You say the best time to do it being two months ago was the best time, and I -agree-, in fact that is part of why I lean towards it being an op. Two months ago they put in the order, the decision is made, they expect Biden to not bomb at the debates and various things to not happen. So, they spend a while radicalizing a young man who is primed for it, letting him plan, knowing PA is a swing state and therefore they are guaranteed a rally there at some point.

The thing is, that would take a while. You need to radicalize the man enough he wants to throw away his life. You need time for him to gain what he needs to do it. You need time to either let him plan it or nudge him along your plan. You need time to arrange specific holes and make sure people who need to do things are on board and understand their part.

Two months makes sense for that. And frankly, the bureaucracy of it is so labyrinthine is possible nobody who could have stopped it even knew it was being planned. If you think "The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing", then you should consider that the Uniparty is more like a Hecatoncheires.

The Republicans are never going to get the black vote no matter how much they pander they're gonna continue losing the white vote because they give whites nothing blacks have nothing to gain from voting for the Republicans they get as much free welfare as they want never gonna change because most of them don't pay taxes.
It's like abortion the vast majority of conservative women already agree that abortion should be outlawed trying to pander to cat ladies is not going to work because those people don't want anything to do with the Republicans.
