So, the thing about that guy, 'Devon', if you can believe it seems to somehow be even more of an extreme narc than Olly, like his obsession with himself based on his twitter feed is honestly hard to believe. Frankly, Olly manages the impossible in somehow being the least insufferable of the three which is just... wow.
Anyway, in the slim chance that he ever reads this, please don't indulge his ginormous ego by calling him hot.

Devon and Alice are suffering from Twitter brain poisoning, and it's terminal. It seems after spending enough time on political Twitter, people will become insanely oppositional and unwilling to concede even the most minor points to their enemies. But even within this set, Devon and Alice stand out as deeply incurious people.
Olly seems to pay less attention to Twitter. Apart from posting the perfunctory thirst traps and announcements, he mostly uses the site to schmooze with high-value social targets. (For instance, he keeps replying to Jenny Nicholson, ever since her most recent video blew up and got covered by major news outlets.)

The company EleutherAI ripped the subtitles off of a bunch of YouTube videos and included them in their open source dataset called The Pile (a) which they released to the for free to the public. Everything concerning the dataset was detailed in an accompanying paper (a) released Dec 31 2020. There's really nothing to investigate, you can read the details for yourself.
Not a single video stolen, they just ripped some transcripts. Feck off Choob.
I wonder why no transcripts of Choob's vids post transition (January 2021) show up in a dataset released in 2020. Truly beyond me.

It amuses me when extreme lefties have such a hate-boner for training AI. You'd think they would approve of open source datasets and models that give the power of AI to anyone with a computer, instead of "Big Tech". Turns out when they feel like their monetization model is under threat they're big fans of overly restrictive copyright and corporate ownership of art. What a surprise. There's such a good leftist argument to be made in favor of these open source datasets, about art being open and free to use for everyone and without the monopolies like Google, but people like Olly and the rest of BreadTube will never pick it up. They're wrong about AI being somehow threatening to them in the first place, but that's because they don't want to admit they make their money by running a cult of personality and fleecing parasocial people.
It's also incredibly hypocritical for YouTubers like Olly, who will pontificate at length about the 'creator economy' and how they threaten 'legacy media', completely forgetting that it's exactly the same technology that allows them the chance to do this. Everything he does is made possible by computers getting faster. That's literally the only thing that's happening, more processing power for everyone. Even the slowest computers and phones got the ability to decode 240p YouTube videos, that increase in processing power is what allows people to watch his videos and is now becoming the reason why people can do stuff with AI at home. It's just classic pulling-up-the-ladder behavior.

It always amazes me how these AGP hons never pick up on any of the more trying parts of womanhood - such as taking care of others emotional needs, being stoic and picking up the pieces (just examples from women out of my own family). It's always this absurd parody that doesn't exist outside of ladies with extreme BPD and mega-hons like Olly.

There are valid gripes to be had against AI from a leftist perspective; training advanced AI models requires mass amounts of computing power, which is inevitably going to be concentrated in the hands of large tech companies, and no amount of open sourcing will change that. I'd imagine that the """Content creator""" hacks like Ollie, though, are concerned for more selfish reasons, because they know their work is easily replaceable slop.
Speaking of Ollie, lol @ him LITERALLY SOBBING ON THE FLOOR RN. Such a dramatic way to react to some of his old scripts being grabbed. Every time he tries to describe his feelings towards a thing, he comes across more and more like an empty narcissist husk who has to calculate the most rewarding emotional response to every situation.

You're probably right. I remember watching his big Coming Out video back when it dropped and finding it odd that he described his pre-transition self as "an actor performing a part", or something to that effect -- it's as if Ollie's entire inner world revolves around this pathological need to be respected by others, and everything he does is meant to further that goal. His transition came at too perfect of a time to be anything other than a shrewdly calculated act on his behalf.
