It's a difference in raiding. You'll notice that in the 4chan raids it was literally just soyjak spam, people weren't posting dnb to own the lib. The same thing can be applied to early jakbox raiding where people unironically just went on twitch and made streamers ask soyjak related questions. And now if my memory serves right, and I'm not mixing up kuz era jakbox raids, then people still did chud it up. But it was to a far lesser extent and only at the end when the soyteens started getting bored of the streamer.

I would agree but "shock content" has been posted on 4chan long before it was a thing on discord or twitter and id wager those old raids weren't so clean as you say they were

David Thoughie was unironically a DNB poster, and that one /lgbt/ raid which killed the kway was really just a baby's first attempt at shocker spam. Made a community founded by people who were kicked out of 4cuck for trolling too hard and post-covid teens, and of course sooner or later someone would introduce trihard methods to them. I believe that there is a subsection of soy culture that engages in weird hurtcore and sadistic posting, but I don't think that's representative of everyone, and especially not representative of the actually funny people who made the site worth using. If the oldfags were "based dead baby posters" then you would have seen the TriHard shit since day one and many of the oldfags would have stuck around for the nusharty's pathetic antics. They didn't becaues posting soyjaks has nothing to do with spamming dead nigger babies and doxing children. Most oldfags left and moved on elsewhere, they don't like the site anymore. It's not funny anymore. The site was about making fun of soyboys and absurd humor, not whatever revisionist crap people like to pedal it as.
