I agree, but these people are the reason we have to constantly walk on eggshells in the first place. I’m not going to feel any sympathy when the people who have spent the last decade trying to sabotage others’ livelihoods for having the wrong political opinions suddenly say “well golly gee, maybe this cancel culture thing ISN’T so good after all” once it’s happening to them. If anything, I welcome the possibility that they’ll get even a taste of what they’ve put everyone else through.

JFC, the AR-15 is the Honda Accord of long guns, with at least 16 million currently owned in the US. The law of averages alone make it likely any rifle used will be some kind of AR.

Regardless, even Dementia Joe, who is a lifelong gun owner, is fully aware that at 150 yards almost any rifle in marginally capable hands is capable of delivering an instant kill.

The real issue isn't the rifle, it's why the roof of a building with a direct line of sight to the podium wasn't secured by USSS or local yokel LEOs.

That's foolish. Having principles serves you, lack of principles doesn't benefit them. Overexposure to concern-trolling and lack of immediate, constant rewards for being a good person is what causes too many people to decide having principles just isn't worth it. Or these people decide they're pragmatists now and having some lines you won't cross is the equivalent of British soldiers insisting on standing in volley lines while battling Americans in the woods. It's just eroding your spirit because you think it will get you somewhere.

I worked in a place called camp bucca Iraq when I went in 2008. It was a military prison. The government shutdown and we weren't allowed to go get food from the chow hall but still we're required to work.
We didn't get paid, didn't get our food rations.
3 weeks it was like this.

And some of you people have the audacity to think that because someone is hot they will let them go inside?


Imagine guarding a prison, outside no shade, in the desert in 120f dry heat, that's hot enough to burn your hands immediately if you accidentally touch a rock around noon and you're told at the end of 12-18 hour day you're not getting paid, getting your food rations, or allowed to quit.

Work isn't the place for politics and if you're talking about politics with strangers using anything that can be tied to you, you're dumb. Politics is like religion, it's fine to have an opinion but shoving it in people's faces and bringing it up at work is trashy.

I heard this ages ago and I live by it:
Friends who wish to stay friends do not discuss religion or politics. There's no good outcome because you will eventually arrive at a place where you disagree, and it will usually be something foundational or deeply rooted and immediately sours the relationship.
