Nobody is falling for this.Hi everyone, the attempt on DJT's life on Saturday is proof (not that most people still needed it) that the left has become completely unglued at the thought of losing power and will do anything to hold on to it, including violence, behaving like wild animals under threat and lashing out. That assasination attempt failed, but they are not done, and it's important for Republicans to not become cocky or complacent.
The Dems have a huge get out the vote machine. The right lags behind on this, but there are efforts to increase voter registration and if anyone out there has a bit of time and would like to help, here is the link for Early Vote Action: https://earlyvoteaction.com/app/. No voter, or vote, can be disregarded-they will all be crucial.
Should the Dems fail to get enough legitimate votes, of course, they will cheat. We have seen that trying to use the courts after the fact is worthless; compromised judges will just throw out the cases. So, preventing cheating before it happens is necessary. True the Vote has a number of election integrity initiatives anyone can volunteer for, starting with checking your own registration status, as well as helping ensure the accuracy of voter rolls and ensuring that only citizens vote https://truethevote.org/ (check the "Engage" tab).
It's going to be an enormous, decades long task to right this ship but we have to start somewhere so I just wanted to put this out there in case anyone was interested.

I think the "encrypted comms" thing helps answer this.
Most zoomer relatives and friends of family I have are already not on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter because they're considered for boomers and millenials. The option for zoomer seems to be TikTok, discord, and reddit. I don't think this guy would have been drawn to TikTok. It is however very possible he was linked to a signal or other group on an encrypted app from discord or reddit or similar that he ultimately stayed and where most of his activity was hidden. Discord claims his profile was inactive, so possibly he lurked on reddit or some forum and perhaps stumbled onto something there that led to a group on an encrypted app.
That's me being creative with this scenario though. But he didn't seem to be super social as it was, so him being a lurker until he found a group he identified with might be plausible.

Found a longer version of the video from Collin Rugg [Tweet]. Seems like the first clip made him sound simply Anti Trump, when the full video seems to suggest he was Anti Sanders/Clinton as well back in 2016 (when he'd have been 12 years old).
So he was 12 years old and making claims about a Hispanic Trump supporter, the initial video posted made it sound more recent and not the ramblings of a politically uninvolved 12 year old.
Not even sure if this video is verified as accurate, were the shooters parents both councillors? Did this person actually go to school with the shooter? Some have questioned this guys age.

All the Feds have said about that so far is that "the shooter was struck by multiple bullets" and the local cop was quoted saying "the shooters chest looked like raw meat" so it's pretty probably he was struck by multiple shots from different snipers.
It's not like they're going to waste the time to say "OK I will take this shot" when you have and active threat. You see a gun, you shoot.
Or at least that's the way it's supposed to be.
