The getting hit on while clearly underage is a big one. In addition to that everyone can agree puberty is harder on girls but I think men are largely unaware just how fucking bad it is, and it goes beyond periods. Honestly, just having to endure male creepiness at every level. In school, at work, outside, with your own family. People can say all they want about how you should REEE at an inappropriate male but really, the penalty still goes to the upset woman. I had an elderly male customer grab my ass at work when I was still working at the grocery store (I was wearing loose pants and my work shirt was too big even at the smallest size so I was not looking sexy) and I flipped. Another moid came to ask me what happened and I told him, and that moid said "Maybe he has a medical condition" as if that was any defense. Honestly, all you can do with male creepiness is grin and bear it or fawn until they go away if you want to maintain your sense of professionalism, or maintain relations with other friends/family. Ironically, the only time it's been acceptable to go full ham on a creepy guy is at the bar or club as it's typical that a bouncer will immediately take your side and remove the offending moid.

Otherwise, the next one I want to add is botox. I now work at a medical clinic specifically for cosmetic work, and we do injectables. Botox is being promoted to teenage girls and young women now ("baby botox"). Generally, I'm a big proponent of botox but some people can react badly to it. Also, almost every moid claims they can see botox when lmao no you can't. A good professional will still allow you to have movement in your face. Generally, we don't try to freeze the fuck out of your face unless that's specifically the look that you want. Celebrities will often freeze their face to hell and back until they are filming something again, at which point they let it lapse. Botox also has other beauty uses too - you can modify your facial appearance with it to a light degree by injecting specific areas (off label). Plus, botox can also be injected under skin to plump it up and make a more poreless look (a lot of Korean celebrities do this) AND it will help with easing the appearance and spread of acne. I know some men (straight and gay) who get botox, but it's still mostly women.

On the topic of lip plumpers, I disagree that it's not good. I really like Fenty's Gloss Bomb Heat in Hot Cherry. Beautiful colour and it just lightly tingles but plumps ever so slightly so there's no visible lip lines. I also get half a syringe of lip filler just over once a year and lip fillers are significantly more painful and don't look great right away. If you want a natural look, even with half a syringe it takes about a month for filler to settle down and not look like duck lips vibes.

And yes, men don't know what makeup looks like. They will scream otherwise, but they don't. They like natural makeup, they don't like a natural face.

Birth control is a big one. If you take hormonal birth control and ever want to stop at some point, it's actually very common for that to fuck you up. Acne and major hair loss is a common thing that happens once you try to go off hormonal birth control if you've been on it for any significant length of time.

Just to do the “natural“ look, a woman will typically use:

• Mascara
• Eyebrow pencil/gel
• Concealer, foundation, or both
• Tinted lip gloss
• Hair styling products
• Eyeliner, just in more neutral shades and/or not very exaggerated
• Highlighter
• Bronzer
• Blush

This also sucks with employment for women too, as even jobs that aren’t looks focused will still encourage (sometimes force) women to wear the natural makeup look on a daily basis, otherwise they get told they look “tired” or “unprofessional.” Men get nowhere near the same pressure to wear makeup, unless they’re in the entertainment business and are required to wear foundation and/or concealer to even out the skin tone and cover acne.
