Alot of people don't realize just how many people who otherwise would have died ended up surviving due to stuff like that. Shit can ricochet what would otherwise be lethal wound alot more than people think. Hell, scotty from star trek was on juno beach on dday and only survived a shot that would have gone into his heart because of a silver cigarette case in his pocket he'd been given before he left to enlist. You don't see too many cases of smoking saving your life
But yeah, to be fair it was a side shot so center mass would be far harder to aim for let alone hit successfully. I can see why he might have thought the head would be a better target. and he was right, as if not for trump happening to turn his head the exact way he did at the exact time he did he'd be dead. If he'd done that literally a second earlier or later he'd have been killed. When the adrenaline and shock wore off and trump learned the details of exactly what happened and saw the video he must have damn near shit bricks at how close he came to dying. Not to mention his family must have been freaking out. Whatever else anyone can say about him, trump definitely took the whole situation well publicly, though I suspect some heads are going to roll in the secret service if he wins in november. I know there would be if I was in his place

Republicans have emphasized the follies of the Biden administration pretty hard tonight. From the immigrant crime issue, the health risks with the train derailment in East Palestine and now the soldiers that died in the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan.

The moment Biden pulled out of Afghanistan the way he did, they worked really hard to bury and make people forget that shit. You can't memory hole the people who actually care about the deaths of others. It's super fucking rough.

Honestly it’s better for us if he sticks with it. You don’t even have to “fight” against Biden. Just let him continue his public decline. He’ll then be remembered as a disgrace to his own party when he inevitably loses. Making him the biggest loser with the Dems since Hilary.

Just when you thought this war between Biden and the DNC cooled down, it ramps right back up. Van Jones said on CNN that "Democrats are coming apart, Republicans are coming together." The only thing that kept Democrats together in the first place was Trump, but that is over now and they have nothing else.
