me, but this is the biggest reassurance I've seen to date they don't have a foolproof plan to rig it this time around without 'Rona to cover up mail-in fraud. There's no eerie smugness they know something we don't like in 2020, they're legitimately afraid of losing.

If the Republicans really want to be the party of strength, it's going to have to adopt the Leftist tactic of defending its alleged "schizos" like Kyle Rittenhouse. Defending gun owners for using their weapons in self defense against the Justice system is the new ground game and the normal people on the ground have to believe one party will protect them from the BS of the other one.

I was originally not planning to vote in 2016 because I had just about enough of the GOP weakness. I was almost certain the 2016 ticket was going to be Jeb vs Hilary. If it had been, I would have totally stayed home on Election Day.
Trump became the most unexpected, yet welcome surprise ever. He entered the Republican Party like a bull in a china shop, and has given it the platform that it has needed for a very long time.
MAGA is so not going away anytime soon, especially with so many Republicans becoming united behind Trump's platform.

From rough recollection I think every single man on that team were his regulars. One big thing that 'allowed' the shooter to shoot was that a lot of Trump's main, and near fanatically loyal, SS team were off because they needed some recovery time from Trump's frequent appearances. They came back in force and are clearly -on point- after the shooting. You can bet your ass they took it -personally- when them not being around almost lead to him dying. You can also bet your ass they are very thoroughly interrogating the few regular crew who were still there about what happened.
If Trump starts showing up with non-ss bodyguards as well as his main guys it will likely be not only on their recommendation but also with them personally doing a thorough screening of them. They will do their damndest to not allow this to happen again.
Very smart for him, reduces his SS team's strain, secures a person who would be an easy target, gets Barron some more life experience away from Trump himself, and just generally is better.
The Republican Party liking to stick to hierarchy really helps here. For a lot of recovery it will just be fast tracking the normally quite long experience process. Not skipping it like DEI does, but instead saying that instead of needing 5 years minimum time in a lesser subcommittee before being considered for a more important one you now need 2. more on this in a bit.
And that confirms, with no possible other interpretation, that this was malice. There is simply no possible way that this realistically could have happened without an active stand down order.
Sorry to tell you, but I am as lost as you are. Keep in mind I am retired, usually in another country, and when I was working in the field it was mostly state level with some federal freelancing. I do have plenty of connections to hear the rumor mill and quite a lot of fuel and ability to sift through it.... but its chaos in DC. There are too many conflicting rumors with about equal weight for me to even be willing to mention them in this forum. Nobody knows what is going on.
Right, this I can speak on. With the convention mostly done and the big themes shown and finally we get to see how Vance portrays himself. Its kinda clear what the 'plan' is, though we will be able to see in real time how well it survives contact. Trump is planning to come in like a wrecking ball, demolish as much of the Deep State and general structures holding up the current regime as possible, stabilize the country and foreign policy, and then leave.
Vance not being bombastic is a feature. He is being set up as the runnerup or at least the template for who shall come after. Someone who shares Trump's ideals but has a calmer, more domestic focused outlook. Someone who, once Trump finishes being the raging bull in the china shop, shall then come in to help rebuild the shop in his preferred image. he is, in short, being set up to be the one who helps heal the nation after Trump rips the cancer out.
With the fast tracking of Republican's it is pretty clear they will also seek to replace most, if not all, of the upper leadership. Just totally wipe out the federal level Uniparty while letting the states handle theirs.

Biden just bounces from talking point to talking point without finishing them. He is doing this A LOT, and doesn't seem to realize he is doing it in the moment. He wants to name the secdef but can't recall the name. He's hyper-nervous about brain farts because he can feel the Presidency slipping away because he shit his brains out during the debate. So, he tries to compensate by naming the Supreme Court Justice instead but is nervously mentally fumbling around so doesn't have time to transmit all of his thoughts into coherent words. So now it sounds like he has confused the two of them when he just forgot one (bad enough) and switched to naming the other instead. He probably will not even realize how incoherent he was until he watches back the video later, but he says he didn't watch the debate so maybe he won't ever realize.
Everything he says is spin, talking points. He is never giving us his actual thoughts, so he has to do so much fucking work just recalling memorized lines and then translating them to fit the moment because he is having to jam talking points in where they don't belong. But he can't switch to telling us what he actually thinks because if he does that he would lose voters who he has won based on saying shit he doesn't really believe.
It's like he's talking in talking point memes rather than full sentences. "Okay, for that question I need to use talking point #43 and talking point #56," which when written by staff and memorized originally were quite good answers. Now, they are half delivered word salad. He needs to:
1. Slow the fuck down.
2. Stop slurring and mumbling.
3. Stop being a fucking goofball in general. Shit has gotten beyond real.

Reading all of that anons posts was legitimately puzzling. It's so hyper schizo that it almost reads like a chatbot wrote it to be unintelligible babble. He did refer to himself as a "female with a huge dong" but it's hard to make much out of that with all the other inane bizarre disjointed rambling. He also posted a screenshot of some talking heads discussing Trumps immunity ruling being used to defend alternate electors, but again it was hard to even make out what point he was trying to make. If that is him he is either completely batshit or his handlers just spun up a backstory of nonsensical gibberish to obfuscate his motives when he did what he did.

It's some delusion - or just shitposting - to suggest anyone cares about the VP's wife. Barely anyone cares about the First Lady, I don't think anyone can recall a single moment of the Second Lady in most presidencies. I hope Biden holds on as long as possible. Stay in there and make any attempt they have to convince people 'actually they had a chance to win the election, you see' so unrealistic that they just give up cheating and come back next time.
