Here's what I don't understand about the lefts DEI push. There are absolutely talented and competent women and minorities on the left to choose from to fill positions, at least a few if you really look. Granted the bar is low, so what I mean by that are people who can speak well, make ok decisions, and generally not make a complete cluster of everything they touch. Minimally competent ppl!

Yet all of their choices are always the absolute worst person for the job. It's like they are trying to sabotage their own process. As an evil racist conservative nazi I couldn't have done a better job picking the current crop of DEI morons to make it look like the society destroying shitfest that it is.

That they are stuck with Kamala, Sotomayor, Brown, Abrahams, Press Secretary Buckwheat, SS Director Kimberly Whatshername, and on and on... is a defeat of their own choosing. My only guess is that the powers that be on the left choose ppl who aren't a threat?

Whatever the reason, I'm glad society is in the process of rejecting DEI hard, and with it demonrats with it.

When you hold secret negative views about minorities, you don't punish a particular member of that minority for exhibiting the trait you already believe they have. So you are happy enough to elevate a person with that negative trait to an office, feeling that any similarly diverse pick would likely have the same issue.

I'll show you how it works on either side of the aisle.

On the GOP side, "lazy blacks" and "lascivious black men" are stereotypes (don't @ me on this, it's true) and no one cared that Clarence Thomas likes to fall asleep on the job or had sexual harassment history with subordinates.

On the DNC side, you can tell that the stereotypes they've incorporated secretly are about intelligence and competence (or really a lack thereof) because they keep hiring people who lack one or both, and seem to take it as a cost of doing business for DEI.

Competent people tend to be harder to control in the sense that once a disagreement is reach the competent one feels safe to just walk away they don't need the party for their lively hood. Incompetent people need the party so they will go along with all the bullshit.

Alot of Trumps biggest and feverish supporter are ex-Democrats, ffs Trump himself is an ex-Dem.

I think part of it is not wanting ambitious, threatening people. But remember that both Obama AND Clinton purged the party of anyone who could possibly be a threat to them -- and them Clinton fucking lost. So Biden's left with the dregs of all that.

Plus on some level they genuinely do believe in tabula rasa -- that everyone is equally good at everything, you just have to train people. There's no such thing as talent, just systemic oppression that allows some people to rise to the top while others fail.

So you have the last retards standing and a belief system that says "any random Shaniqua off the street can do the job just as well as a white guy who's been doing his job for 30 years, Shaniqua just needs a chance."

The progressives do not use logic. They use religious faith. They work backwards from a conclusion to justify things. It's one reason why you can't debate with them -- they already know the holy truth, and they know you're a heretic that's trying to get power over them to oppress them.

Something else that I've noticed: You get a sense that Reddit attracts midwits who believe they are smarter than everyone else.

Updoots lead to this.

Redditors think people updoot the smartest post, because they feel like they personally are updooting in this way.

What actually happens is that the most upvotes go to whoever best appeals to and sounds smartest to the absolute center of the bell curve. The thoughts that appeal most to the very center of the bell curve go straight to the top of every crowded reddit thread.

When a person in the middle of the bell curve observes that their thoughts are either highly upvoted, or that a thought they had has already been logged and is in fact the most updooted comment of all, they feel like they must be incredibly smart, when in fact a more reasonable read is that they are extremely average.

While I am certain there are some democrats who love America
Why? The whole foundation of the Democratic platform is that America is an evil country, founded on hate and bigotry, and the descendants of the people who built the country deserve to be disenfranchised, punished, and run out.

Hold up.

Why do people care if Kamala is popular? If the dems were smart, they would pick a very likable VP, one who can do the conferences with charisma and class and just have Kamala as a figurehead.

"Kamala runs the presidency behind the scenes, she's the brains. I am the face and voice of the democrats. Together we make the perfect team that will beat Trump in the poles!!" - [Insert popular, charismatic, well-liked, DNC shill man-in-a-wig that sings sad break-up songs]

Ah that seeth from Reddit. Rewatching his speech I’m liking Vance. He comes of as a regluar dude and has a pretty hartwarming story. Unlike Pence it seems like he wants to work with Trump. Time will tell sure but right now I think he’s a much better pick than Pence right now.
I didn't get a chance to watch Vance's speech at the convention last night. Did Vance address his earlier anti-Trump stance at all?

1, because Kamala would hate that and would rage against it.
2, why not have that person run instead?
& 3, who even would fit that bill?

1. Kamala wants an easy life and this is to just get them over the line. Plausible deniability for the election fraud, then Kamala steps down/is 25th'd.
2. You don't change horses mid-race and it would mean removing both the Pres and VP in fell swoop. Not a good luck for the most popular president in history.
3. Gaylord Swift or any other popular Hollywood whore.

Fuck it, at this point run meghan markle.
