Nah. You have got it a little mixed up. Indian culture is very patriarchal - this is why they pressure women to get married young and move in with their husband's parents. They essentially treat women as servants to the husband, his parents, uncles, cousins. Women are just seen as accessories in men's lives. That's why they practiced Sati if the husband died before the wife. She no longer has a use once her husband dies. The joint family bullshit is all about controlling women.

Indian women act so domineering because they literally have no control over their own lives and never have privacy. Everything they do is monitored and controlled by their in-laws in those joint households. Thus, they get stuck into this whole "aunty" cycle you'll hear about from Indians. They grow into a bunch of old mean women who will try to control their children lives, harshly judge others (especially young women), and will abuse their daughter-in-laws just like they were abused.

Old mean women are the biggest guardians of patriarchy in brown cultures. They can never escape it, so they punish others out of anger and jealousy.

It really only makes the men very misogynistic both in the sense the women they observe display really awful behavior in their socializing as anything and everything becomes a power play and they're simultaneously treated like golden boys who don't have to do anything and expect that of any woman outside the family too.

In a sense it makes sense, you really really really do not want to be a woman of bad standing in such societies, or one which has no family to look out for you. India also has those weird Matriarchy tribes in the jungles but its a different type. The men do all the work and the woman decides which men gets to screw them. The chosen man then gets to approach the cows tent, plant his spear outside and enter. Whether those tribes still exist or not is unknown but given how primitive that place is , I wouldn't doubt it.

Another thing we have to remember is India is a fake country. Its made of many different dynasties with different ethnic groups and religions. So some might be patriarchies. Slightly offtopic but a woman I used to know went to India for vacation with her husband and 2 young kids, including a little girl. She mentioned that pajeets were taking photos of her on the street, without asking, not even trying to hide it. Even when she bought her something to hide under (like a hat with a wide brim or something- I don't remember) your local rajeeshs didn't get a hint and were still trying to photograph the poor girl.

Can add to this. Used to work in auto insurance in Ontario. For apps like Uber or Lift, if youre going to be a driver, you need to tell your auto insurance company, and its a different kind of insurance that you have to pay for, since normal rates no longer qualify due to the hours youre driving, the distances, and the fact that you now will have unknown passengers regularly in your car.

So basically, if you are in an accident and have the normal insurance, your insurance company will basically drop you if youre doing uber, because you are not supposed to be doing uber or taxi services on standard insurance.

Want to guess which demographic almost always breaks this rule and doesn't tell their insurance company that theyre working for uber, which they are legally obligated to do?

the only people who revered india as spiritual were dumb hippies.

as for scammers ruining the reputation, well it is hard to argue differently when everyone in america is constantly getting phone calls from indian scammers. before i installed a filter on my phone i was getting at least a couple of calls per hour on average.

it's also hard to argue against the bad reputation when people can get online and see videos and pics of india and how filthy and disgusting it is.

it is also hard to argue against when anyone with an internet connection can see how terrible indians are with trying to turn every website into a 'sexually harass all the white women website'

in short what gives india a bad reputation isnt simply the scammers, it is exposure to indians themselves that is to blame.

so a thought ive had, and ill bounce it off KF is this: if it werent for arranged marriages, would the entire continent be nothing but incels? they look terrible, smell terrible, have zero social skills, and treat women like absolute dirt. i cant imagine any woman ever marring an indian man unless her family forces her to.

we have all seen how little success the average jeet has when he tries to date outside of arrange marriages, the open cloth show bob approach doesnt work when the woman is able to say no.
the only thing i could see is maybe jeet women get desperate for a husband/children so they choose a nasty jeet since it is either that or die alone. but even then, i think there would be olenty of women who choose to be unmarried if given the choice between that or the average jeet male.
