Jarrod appears to have lost employment in January. The polycule stayed living on the mountain until an exceptionally bad snowstorm in March, by which point he'd started working as a FedEx driver. He's possibly on a partial detransition/enby route because he wants a FedEx shirt that communicates he's "not a sir" (but seemingly not one saying he's a "ma'am"). They've unprivated their twitters because they needed more visibility to grift for GoFundMes, and Jarrod briefly expressed interest in trying to raise funds to purchase the Tranch (which went nowhere). They're also all still using drugs, and Jarrod wants to acquire more automatic weaponry before the Colorado automatic weapons ban comes into force.

The van he was living in with his polycule (which they refer to as "the bananavan") was also the van he was using to make FedEx deliveries. It gets unpleasantly hot during summer, so his polycule temporarily bailed with the hopes Jarrod could also "save for housing", which suggests he's been bankrolling their food budgets and associated living costs (because they're "disabled"). They'd been looking for apartments during March and April but had no luck, and Jarrod mused that he could use the Tranch gofundmes more now than ever. Despite the polycule members all hating their family massively, Jarrod's Dad bought him truck parts while Caustik and the other one went to go stay with family.

Only other points of note: CaustikCrow apparently has a cat (unclear if he had a cat while homeless on a mountain, or if this is a cat at his parents' house), Jarrod has a bluesky account (but surprisingly sensibly will only disclose the username to mutuals who message him - no hits on bluesky for "josiebean", "josiebeanshroom" which is his new cashapp or "bananavan") and there's zero reference to the blowup with Loseryote that seemingly happened January-February time (which is what I was really digging for).

Kevin is being credibly accused of doxing and sharing revenge porn of a Bluesky troon called TransCommieScum (TCS), who used to date one of the Tranchers (Shiteater Jen) years ago.
In response, TCS just recently came out with allegations that Penny Logue (the Tranch leader) sexually assaulted him six years ago, and Kevin supposedly witnessed it but chose to do nothing about it.

There was some back-and-forth sniping on Bluesky, but now Kevin and Shiteater Jen have both deactivated their accounts. It seems to lend credence to the SA accusation. TransCommieScum has also been roasting the disastrous failure of the Tranch, which is pretty funny.

As you remember, this left us on a massive cliff hanger, because just prior to that, one of the gang who was off his meds started having siezures as well as being suicidal and cooking potentially lethal soup. And a massive storm was brewing.
Sadly there is no mention of all that drama now, they dropped the guy on bad terms and he has badmouthed them since (this is all in the thread, justrecapping).

I didn’t see the earthship - the parcels are huge and the landscape is more undulating than I expected, so you can easily have buildings hidden from the road.
There were some more interesting self built houses higher up the valley side, but around the Tranch the typical building is trailers and sheds.

The views are stunning, and the terrain is rugged but it suffers from being miles from owhere., and semi- desert. That’s why land is relatively cheap there.

When they were looking at the Earthship it was during their heyday. I think it ended up selling for abour $200k so if they'd been a bit more sensible with money they'd netted about half that in donations, so could have definitely made an offer (although they'd probably have still needed Bonnie's mother to act as guarantor). Obviously if they were sensible with money they wouldn't have started the Tranch in the first place, but you get what I mean.
It's also worth noting that NOT buying the Earthship was a really good idea because after a decade of construction it was "about 70% finished" and had no water supply.

Their original plan was to use the Earthship to house vulnerable trans people fleeing oppression or whatever, and this was before they'd worked out inviting trans people to live with you for free and do no work is not very sustainable, so they might have wound up balking on the property when the scope and cost of construction was finally spelled out to them.
